Finnaly some progress on my playscale Ghost. For more then a year I couldn't figure out the sloped sides but after some inspiration from the well know HUGE minifig scale one, stacked bricks turned out to be the best soloution.

Also, a small sneak peak of the interrior details. Reconfigured the rooms to be more acsesible at this scale.

Hope to finish it this year!

Here it is, one of my favorite ships from the SW universe. Some of my followers probably remember the olive green version I made 3 years ago and since then I always wanted to make a proper model of the ship.

Model consists of around 1500 parts, side wings rotate and lock in place, has some interior (small and limited space) but it actually has more interrior than the Lego UCS. Rear door opens to allow the minifig to access his seat that rotates from landed mode to flight mode.

A work in progress ship that will probably be my next project with real bricks.

Parts - around 2200

Interrior can be accessed by removing top panel and the second floor of the ship.

Phantom was significantly reduced in size to be more or less in the same scale, that lead to problem that there is very little space to squeeze in the figure.

All the inner details and extra greebeling will be added in real life model.

Hope to start building Ghost this year.

I've been to the Porsche Lentemeeting 2012 in Oosterhout, the Netherlands today and it was a wonderful day! EDO Competition GT2, 9FF Boxster, GT3RS... So much stunning Porsches out there! Made a lot of shots, but I had no time to edit them. What now?

Let me tell you what now. I edited a shot from a BMW M3 Coupé wich I saw yesterday in Breda this morning. The M3 is not really an exotic car, but with this wonderful color, the red leather interrior and the gorgeous AEZ Tidore rims, this car is really adorable.

In this new photo I removed the front-glass of the frame to kill the light reflections. I used sunlight to get straight, bright and parallel Shadows from one direction to push it more to the third dimension and make it more "geometric". I made the picture monochrome to remove the yellow self-illumination from the material (PLA) - it looks a little like bones (see the old photos).In this stepp the picture get a little bit flat... I'm happy about every tip and critics to get better results for my next photos. Thanks for all your support. Oliver
