Beverly: I am a girl. I am 17. I am a senior at Lick-Wilmerding High School. I enjoy helping others by involving myself in community service around my neighborhood in hopes of creating positive change in the world. I love being busy and being able to challenge myself by stepping out of my comfort zone. I love understanding the different perspectives in the world and exposing myself to a variety of ideas. I am a combination of different attributes. I am different. I am transient.
Douglas: I am a thinker. A person who is active in sports, music, instruments, and technology. I am very open-minded and love working with kids. By attending Ida B. Wells High School, I am becoming the first in the family to graduate. A man who supports the family and his roots and living day by day with the wise words of a father: “Keep it real, Keep it straight, Keep your head up, Move forward and let God accomplish your dreams.”
