Buick's intermediate Special and Skylark were slightly facelifted for 1965. The Special and upmarket Skylark offered 4-door sedans, wagons, 2-door "Sport Coupe" hardtops and 2-door sedans (marketed by Buick as "thin pillar coupes"). The Buick 225 V6 with 155 HP was standard, the 300 V8 optional (310 HP 2-barrel with regular fuel, 355 HP 4-barrel with premium).
This model has no front fender V8 badging, being a standard 225 V6. 13,828 Special 2-door sedans built with V6, 8,121 with V8, with factory delivered retail prices at $2,292 (V6) and $2,362 (V8).

Was able to get some real close-up shots of this uncommon winter visitor as it was very accommodating.
