The "mistress of the house and chantress of Amun-Re," Henettawy died, still in her twenties, during a time of political change (the so-called Third Intermediate Period). This was a period when the art of coffin decoration was at its height.
Henettawy's main burial equipment consisted of two splendid coffins and an innermost mummy lid, fitting one into the other like parts of a Russian doll. Both coffins and the innermost lid are shaped like wrapped mummies with elaborate masks fastened over the heads. The decoration of the lid of the outer coffin reflects royal coffins of an earlier age, which had gold masks and gold arm covers, mummy covers of precious materials such as gold inlaid with glass and semiprecious stones, and faience bead netting. The head and upper body on Henettawy's outer coffin features a wig adorned with floral fillets, an immense floral broad collar with Horus-head terminals, bracelets, armlets, rings, and rosette ear ornaments.

...The name did not evoke images of steep chutes, dense glades, or anything that would make an intermediate /advanced skier or snowboarder drive to Londonderry. Indeed, why bother when there are more developed resorts right around Magic Mountain? Simply because on a good winter day it could offer similar or even better bang for your buck.
There is one catch: for optimal results you would need fresh powder, the skills to ski intermediate and advanced terrain, patience for the slow ski lifts, and an understanding that it is not a “Louis Vuitton” territory. One, of course, could immediately object: “But almost any resort rocks when it dumps a foot or so.” I agree, but here is another secret advantage of Magic: you can pretty much count on not having lift lines on a weekend when Mother Nature dumps more than a foot of fresh snow.

Intermediate Egret. Wading bird. This species, as its scientific name implies, is intermediate in size between the great egret and smaller white egrets like the little egret and cattle egret, though nearer to little than great. all-white plumage, generally dark legs and a thickish yellow bill. Breeding birds may have a reddish or black bill, greenish yellow gape skin, loose filamentous plumes on their breast and back, and dull yellow or pink on their upper legs (regional variations). The sexes are similar. Differentiated from the Great Egret by the gape, which extends well beyond the back of the eye in case of the great egret, but ends just behind the eye in case of the intermediate egret.

At the best time of day in unusually beautiful lighting, an Intermediate Egret makes its way along the lake shoreline feeding. The sun was reflecting off the ripples between me and the bird.
Wallpaper removed, front door trim temporarily removed to hopefully allow plumbing of door frame, floor tile edges busted (will retile this floor too).
Mirrors removed, hay (grasscloth wallpaper) removed, edge wallpaper removed, need to strip foil grasscloth backer paper and skim coat before painting.

For decades, developing and emerging economies have relied on traditional financing solutions intermediated by commercial banks with limited capital market activity. A vital challenge for these countries is how to mobilise more finance to help accelerate their development and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This event comes at a critical juncture as developed economies begin to tighten their monetary policies and geopolitical tensions increase dramatically, raising new questions on how sustainable capital market ambitions could be achieved going forward.
The current turbulent environment in Europe has also highlighted the importance of energy security and the pressing need to fast-track decarbonisation efforts. This panel explored how emerging economies can achieve significant breakthroughs by mobilising cross-border finance focused on sustainable and inclusive solutions. In particular discussing the growth of blended finance and impact investment flows and their role in building up the stock of assets in emerging market economies with the aim of achieving sustainable development impact.
At the heart of the EBRD’s mandate lies a focus on environmentally sound investment and sustainable development, and the Bank is determined to promote Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) through a unique combination of policy dialogue, investments, and private sector focus. The panel also explored how various parties -- the emerging countries’ authorities, advanced economies’ governments interested in supporting sustainable development, impact investors and IFIs - could work together to support the much-needed quantum leap in finance.
