The Ramon Crater in Israel’s Negev Desert is the world’s largest erosion crater or makhtesh. A landform unique to Israel’s Negev and Egypt’s Sinai deserts’, a makhtesh is a large erosion cirque, created 220 million years ago when oceans covered the area (the word crater is therefore a misleading translation of Hebrew to English.) The Ramon Crater measures 40km in length and between 2 and 10km in width, shaped like a long heart, and forms Israel’s largest national park, the Ramon Nature Reserve.
Usually I print my photography line and then make a little bit of photo session with them, in order to bring beauty into my Etsy corner...
... then they go to an envelope where I keep all of them, until someone wishes from a print by {apft}.
Yesterday I thought about re-arranging the living-room (too much noise around such a small place) and gave my prints a new place to be!
...in a very warm and cozy... and lazy sunday afternoon... why not play along with your own shadow?
btw, this reminded me my dear friend Ivy... Ivy can you guess why? :)
Foxtail Asparagus Fern
Is an evergreen arching perennial that has feathery, needle-like, stems.
Foxtail Fern is often thought of as a fern but really it is not a true fern, i.e. it produces seeds rather than spores. This is however related to the vegetable Asparagus which also has fern-like foliage.
Foxtail Fern is very similar to Asparagus Fern only its growth habit is very dense and it produces tail-like fronds for a fluffy Foxtail look.
In the summer the plant has small white flowers that are followed by bright red berries.
The plant can grow 2 feet in height and to a width of 3 to 4 feet.
Unique growth habit makes it an outstanding accent plant in any garden also makes a great hanging basket.
