It was during the winter of 2000 that I came up with the idea of producing an elaborate gun deck cutaway of the British ship HMS PRINCE. This unique carving was to portray crew members on all four decks performing daily duties in naval attire.
This was an ambitious project that was four years in the making. For several years the project had been placed 'on hold'. But after involving myself with the HALF MOON Project of 2009, I solemnly departed from completing this work.
It is my hope that I can someday return back to this endeavor and show the British people a magnificent work in wood relative to their maritime heritage.
