AM 0500-620 consists of a highly symmetric spiral galaxy seen nearly face-on and partially backlit by a background galaxy. The foreground spiral galaxy has a number of dust lanes between its arms. The background galaxy was earlier classified as an elliptical galaxy, but Hubble has now revealed a galaxy with dusty spiral arms and bright knots of stars. AM0500-620 is 350 million light-years away from Earth in the constellation of Dorado, the Swordfish.

This image is part of a large collection of 59 images of merging galaxies taken by the Hubble Space Telescope and released on the occasion of its 18th anniversary on 24th April 2008.

Interactions Magazine is a periodical of the computer industry. They just went through I big graphic redesign of their magazine and used my image for the cover of their first newly rebranded issue.

A coyote scowls at me and offers some interaction.

I actually took some time today to do some new SPs. These aren't them. I'm still deciding if I like any of them. We shall see. It didn't go as well as planned. :)

I'm continuing my week of self portraits. You get parts of me today.

www.intersectionconsulting.comSales needs to follow, not precede, interaction.

These children stood in front of this exhibit - a moving film - where they talked, danced, interacted with and became a part of it. I guessed that the artist would have been happy to see how she had communicated with them. I also liked how they interacted with each other. Plus they made for some interesting photography... once I got down to sitting on the floor... and they just laughed when they saw me taking photos.

THE 8TH ASIA PACIFIC TRIENNIAL OF CONTEMPORARY ART (APT8)

Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT) is the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art's flagship exhibition focussed on the work of Asia, the Pacific and Australia. This eighth edition emphasises the role of performance in recent art, with live actions, video, kinetic art, figurative painting and sculpture exploring the use of the human form to express cultural, social and political ideas, and the central role of artists in articulating experiences specific to their localities. APT8 includes more than 80 artists and groups, an ongoing program of artist performances and projects; a conference as part of the opening program; extensive cinema programs; publications; and activities for kids and families.

Artist: Anida Yoeu Ali, born 1974, Battambang, Cambodia. Lives and works in Chicago, USA and Phnom Penh.

Anida Yoeu Ali's The Buddhist Bug, Into the Night 2015 extends from her 'Buddhist Bug' series of photographs, videos and live performances. In these works, the artist playfully inhabits a sinuous, caterpillar-like costume whose colour references the robes of Buddhist monks. Ali's bug was inspired by her fascination with Buddhism as a Khmer-Muslim, and the exploration of diasporic identities. The project developed when Ali returned to her birthplace of Cambodia as a means of inhabiting and recording Cambodia's changing rural and metropolitan landscapes, and of negotiating her culturally mixed background as 'Khmer-Muslim, Cambodian-American, Cham minority and Malaysian'. In a series of social encounters in locations around Phnom Penh, Ali's bug impassively occupies central stage among communities, schools, cinemas, restaurants, bars and urban and rural landscapes undergoing rapid change and development. Its lengthy coils wrap around tables, are poised with grace and improbability on a bicycle, and infiltrate karaoke bars. Her video for APT8 documents these engagements with Phnom Penh at night time, staging the nocturnal bug as a 'powerful place for encounter, habitation and reinvention'.

Everywhere Carrie moved, the colts followed her. She was like a magnet, it was pretty cute. :)

Well it is springtime and the two robins interacting are fighting over a third robin out of the frame. These two went at it hot and heavy for sometime, nobody was giving up.

You never know how it's gonna play out when you get up close to a stranger with that big Nikon goin' 'chikeesh... chickeesh... chickeesh.'

You just gotta have faith and all the love vibes in your heart that you can.

It gives you the right 'mojo.'

It defies all conventional thinking I swear to gahd.

And the more badass lookin' the person is that you do it to the better.

It almost always works out really well.

You can feel the love.

This is my wife and my only born kid. (I´ve got one in there as well). I´ve seen some pregnant+headphones photos before, and I wanted to do something in that category. The idea of adding my son, and let him control the iphone came while we were shooting. Too bad I was unable to get a good shot of him looking up.
