A few designers and strategists at zu attended the Adaptive Path User Experience Intensive Workshops, Brooklyn Oct 13-16.
The chest x-ray showed changes of an enlarged heart and a pattern in the lungs that suggested inflammation, like asthma. But Molly had never had any symptoms of asthma, like coughing or breathing difficulties. This was an illness that came on very suddenly.
The vet gave her every drug she had to reverse the respiratory distress but there was no change. A clot in one of the arteries in her lungs was suggested as a cause.
Though she seemed more comfortable in the oxygen, the minute I would reach in to stroke her, Molly would become quite stressed and begin panting again.
She was critically ill and we weren't optimistic things would turn around. I didn't want to prolong her suffering.
I decided to have her euthanized.
