A 1991 Lancia Delta Integrale Evo I opens the 62th edition of the "Valli Ossolane" rally.
After the eclipse of Group B rally cars in 1986, due to a series of terrible incidents, the world rally championship steered toward less powerful vehicles derived directly from series production. Lancia, an italian car manufacturer (already absorbed in the FIAT group) had a strong tradition in rally, and decided to develop its new rally racer from its small hatchback (not so small at the time), the Delta, which the brand had already equipped with a 4 wheel drive. The result was, through a series of small evolutions, the most succesfull race car of all time, the Delta Integrale. This car won a record of six rally manufacturer championships and three pilot championships, winning all the races in one single season. Today Italy, thanks to the blindness of governments, the greed of the Agnelli Elkan (shame on them) family, and the distorted visions of managers like Sergio Marchionne (who was the first to cannibilize the know how developed in the country in the FCA project), after billions of helps from the governments in more than 40 years, produces 213,000 vehicles against the almost 2 millions of 1989, and all the produced vehicles share engines and platforms with models from other European brands, without a single engine engineered in the country.

È gestita per il WWF, World Wildlife Fund for Nature, in Italia
Trapani's Salt mines (Riserva naturale integrate Saline di Trapani e Paceco) are a natural regional reserve of Sicily island established in 1995 to protect one of the last humid zones in western Sicily. It spreads over almost 1000 hectares in the town halls of Trapani and Paceco.
The reserve, in whose interior it takes place the former activity of extraction of the salt, is an important wetland that offers coat to numerous species of migratory birds. It is managed by the WWF (World Wildlife Fund for Nature) in Italy
The extraction of the salt is realized in August, when the maximum point of drying is reached.
The work, today, is mechanized largely, but it is considered together with the work in the mines of sulphur, as one of the hardest works for an human being.
The characteristic windmills still stay, used in that time, for a double function: some for the grinding of the salt, others for the pumping of the salty water of a tub to other one. An example is the Maria Estrella windmill turned into headquarters of the center recognitions of the reserve.
Trapani's salt is included today in the index of the traditional Products Sicilians recognized by the Department of the agricultural, food and forest policies, which in April, 2011 the IGP has also recognized with the name " Marine Salt of Trapani "

The first series Delta was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and released in 1979 RHD models were introduced in Britain in 1980 they remained almost unchanged until 1986 with small changes to the body shape and engines were uprated. most Delta models were ordinary small family cars but like the Subaru Imprezza have remained more famous for the performance and rally cars
The Integrale was introduced in 1987 and for the first eight months was known simply as the HF 4WD with a 165bhp turbo charged engine. But it became the Integrale wearing flared arches and winning International rallies. Yet it had five doors and remained a practical family hatchback. In 1989 the power was increased to from 185bhp to 200bhp with a 16 valve head finally reaching 210bhp.
At the September 1991 Frankfurt Motor Show Lancia introduced an heavily revised Delta HF, once again named Delta HF Integrale, but which became better known as the HF Integrale Evo (Evoluzione) Evoluzione cars were built from October 1991 through 1992. At the end of the victorious 1991 World Rally Championship season, where the HF integrale 16v had won both the drivers' and manufacturers' championships, Lancia officially retired from rallying. Despite this, racing development of the HF integrale continued, and factory-developed HF integrale Evos were fielded by independent Martini Racing-sponsored Jolly Club for the 1992 season. The Evoluzione's engine was the same turbocharged 16-valve two-litre used on the previous model, but power had increased to 210 PS (207 bhp) thanks to a new, single outlet 60 mm diameter exhaust system Mechanical changes included a strengthened steering rack and a power steering oil cooler. The suspension was reworked and strengthened, the braking system featured larger diameter discs and vacuum servo, and fixed two-piston Brembo calipers at the front. No changes were made to the four-wheel-drive system. The cars track was increased resulting in wheel arch bulges becoming extended and made more rounded. They were now made in a single pressing, rather than welded on as they previously were. the Evoluzione bodywork included a new bonnet, front and rear bumpers, box section side skirts, rear doors, and a rear spoiler. The front end was distinguished by twin, smaller diameter round headlamps—with the outboard pair, the dipped beams, being of the novel projector type. The bonnet had a wider and taller hump, and new lateral air slats to further assist under bonnet ventilation. The roof spoiler above the tailgate was manually adjustable in three positions—lowered, raised or fully raised via two included brackets Other outside changes were new windscreen wipers with integrated spoilers, a sports-type gas cap, and new yellow HF badges, decorated with the traditional red elephant used on Lancia HF cars of the past.
