Seeing is believing. Alfa Insurance recently joined with other community sponsors in Shelby County to create a display that drives home the true dangers of drunk and distracted driving. The display was stationed at 10 high schools in the county in the days leading up to the school's prom. Special guest speakers also shared heart-wrenching stories of losing young family members in drunk driving accidents or through accidental drug overdoses. Photos are from the display at Shelby County high school on April 24. Guest speakers included Guy and Terri Allbrook, who lost their daughter in an automobile accident caused by drinking, and Karen and Jimmy Crane, who lost their son to an overdose. Alfa was responsible for donating the wrecked cars for the display.
