Postcard sent to customers of AllState Insurance Company highlighting their new office at 2829 Watt Avenue in Sacramento.
The building is 30,000 square feet and had a provision for 50% expansion. The owner wanted a building that would do the community proud from a design point of view.
The structure consists of a steel frame with wood roof and suspended ceiling. Exterior walls are tilt-up concrete panels with an aluminum window wall in the front lobby entrance. A patio opens off the cafeteria for employees. Parking lot provides for 300 cars.
Because of the tight schedule, there was only four and a half months from completion of preliminary plans to occupancy of the building. Occupancy occurred 15 days ahead of the schedule.
The site is in northeast Sacramento near the central business district of the rapidly growing area. It is a three and a half acre lot with an 800 foot frontage on Watt Avenue.
