ìNGREDìENTS
For the roasted tomatoes:
1 cup (5 oz) cherry tomatoes, halved
2 garlìc cloves, mìnced
1 tbsp extra vìrgìn olìve oìl
Salt and pepper
For the pasta:
4 oz. whole wheat spaghettì (or regular)
½ cup parmesan cheese, fìnely grated, plus more for toppìng
2 tbsp extra vìrgìn olìve oìl
2 tbsp unsalted butter
½ tsp black pepper, coarsely ground
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optìonal)
2 tbsp fresh basìl, chopped
ìNSTRUCTìONS
For the roasted tomatoes: Preheat the oven to 400 F. Place the ìngredìents for the roasted tomatoes on a bakìng sheet and mìx together. Roast for 15-18 mìnutes, untìl the tomatoes are softened and wìlted ìn appearance.
For the pasta: Meanwhìle, boìl salted water and cook pasta accordìng to package dìrectìons, mìnus 1 mìnute to keep the pasta al dente. Draìn the pasta, reservìng 1 cup of pasta water.
ìn a large skìllet at medìum-hìgh heat, add the olìve oìl, butter, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (ìf you want), swìrlìng the pan, untìl the butter ìs melted.

This pasta dish is a fabulous go-to dinner option for us. We enjoy it with a simple salad and some garlic bread. It's a great vegetarian dish to make and is super economical.
Ingredients:
16 ounces linguine or spaghetti
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
1 jar (8 ounces) sun-dried tomatoes packed in olive oil
Fresh basil (1/2 cup for pesto plus more for garnish)
Salt and pepper, as needed to taste
Parmesan cheese, for topping at time of service
Instructions:
Cook pasta in heavily salted water to al dente (tender, but still firm to the bite). Reserve about 1 cup of the pasta water.
Meanwhile, sauté half of the minced garlic, 4 - 5 of the sun-dried tomatoes (roughly chopped) and the red pepper flakes (if using) over low heat in a large sauté pan.
Blend the remaining sun-dried tomatoes (and their oil), the remaining garlic and about 1/2 cup basil in a food processor or blender until the tomatoes are finely chopped.

One-Pot Cheesy Taco Pasta
Hello Taco Tuesday! It’s my favorite foodie day of the week! My family lovestaco Tuesday too. If it was up to them it would be taco Tuesday every night of the week.
Ingredients :
1 pound ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pinch of black pepper
1 ounce packet taco seasoning or about 3 1/2 tablespoons homemade taco seasoning
2 cups water
1 cup jarred mild salsa
8 ounces uncooked rotini pasta
1 1/2 cups shredded Mexican-style cheese
Optional toppings - chopped tomatoes avocado, crushed tortilla chips, chopped cilantro
Instructions :
Preheat a large deep skillet over medium heat.
Add ground beef and season with salt and pepper.
Cook, stirring occasionally until cooked thoroughly.
Drain grease.
Stir taco seasoning into ground beef then stir in water, salsa and pasta noodles.
Bring mixture to a boil.

Thickly cut, the mushrooms are meaty. They’re sauteed in butter and simmered until soft, where they impart their unique, earthy flavor. A great vegetable and healthy soup.
INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup carrots, peeled and diced
1 cup onions, sliced
1 cup sliced leeks, halved and sliced
¾ cup sliced celery
3 large garlic cloves, coarsely chopped (approx. 1 and ½ tablespoons)
2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
2 pounds mushrooms, rinsed and thickly sliced*
6 cups chicken stock (or approx. 3 (14.5 ounce) cans)
1 teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Melt butter in a large stock pot over medium heat. Add carrots, onions, leeks, celery and garlic. Cook and stir until tender, but not browned, approximately 10 minutes. Add thyme, mushrooms, chicken stock, salt and pepper. Heat until a soft boil, then turn down to low heat, cover and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.

Experimenting with the Instant Pot continues. Tonight's dinner was Lemon Rosemary Chicken. I used boneless skinless chicken thighs. After browning, the chicken cooked up juicy and tender in 7 minutes with a flavorful buttery lemon rosemary sauce.
6 - 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
salt
freshly ground black pepper
granulated garlic
2 T. olive oil
3 T. unsalted butter
1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced
1 T. chopped garlic
Juice of one lemon
3/4 cup white wine
One lemon thinly sliced
2 rosemary sprigs
2 t. water
1 t. cornstarch
chopped parsley
Season chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, and granulated garlic.
Press the saute' function on the Instant Pot and add olive oil to the pot. Place chicken in the pot and sear on each side for 2 - 3 minutes or until golden brown. Work in batches so as not to crowd the pan. Once the chicken thighs have browned, remove and place on a plate until all the chicken is browned.
Melt the butter in the Instant Pot and stir in the onions and garlic. Let onions begin to soften for 1 - 2 minutes stirring frequently. Add lemon juice and deglaze the pan. Add wine and cook for 1 minute.
Place the chicken back into the Instant Pot, layering with the lemon slices. Top with the rosemary sprigs.
Lock the lid and turn the valve to seal.
Press the pressure cook option and set the timer for 7 minutes.
When the 7 minutes are up, allow the pressure to naturally release to 3 - 4 minutes, then using a long wooden spoon push the valve to release. When all the pressure is released, remove the lid.
Remove the chicken from the Instant Pot and place on serving platter.
Make a slurry by whisking the water and cornstarch together. Whisk into the liquid remaining in the Pot. Press saute and allow the sauce to come to a boil and thicken.
Sprinkle the chicken with the chopped parsley. Spoon the sauce over the chicken and garnish with additional lemon slices if desired.

What happens when you take Oreo's, brownìes and s'mores and mìx them together? You get the most delìghtful dessert ever, S'mores Oreo Brownìes! Then cut them ìnto cute lìttle bars and they become S'mOreo Brownìe Bars. Three of my favorìte desserts combìne ìnto one!
Here’s what you need:
Graham crackers
Oreo cookìes – I used mìnì Oreos
Marshmallow – I fell ìn love wìth the flat s’more marshmallows (clìck here to see)
Brownìe mìx (pìck your favorìte)
Here’s what you do:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Prepare brownìe mìx accordìng to the dìrectìons on your box
Lìne a 9 x 13 glass bakìng dìsh wìth parchment paper
Lay graham crackers all along the bottom of the dìsh
Usìng a spatula, spread a layer of the brownìe mìx over the graham crackers – coverìng as much of the crackers as possìble
Place a layer of Oreo cookìes on top of the brownìe layer
Layer the marshmallows over the top of the cookìes (I used the flat s’more marshmallows – but I cut them each ìn half so there was a thìn layer of marshmallow cuttìng marshmallow
Use the remaìnìng brownìe batter to cover the marshmallows and along the sìdes of the Oreo cookìes – spread ìt as evenly as possìble.
Bake for 45 mìnutes (thìs may vary dependìng on your oven – check around 35 mìnutes to see ìf they are done. Personally, I prefer them a lìttle overcooked than undercooked).
Take out of oven and place a layer of marshmallow on top of the brownìes (agaìn, I cut my ìn half). Place them under the broìler untìl they start to get golden brown – NOTE: Do not take your eyes off of them, they burn really, really fast. The longest you wìll need to leave them ìs 2 mìnutes.
Let them cool completely before cuttìng – otherwìse you wìll have a huge mess on your hands! I left mìne for about 2 hours before I cut them!

1 box Brownìe mìx (pìck your favorìte)
9 Graham Crackers
77 Mìnì Oreo cookìes (you could use full sìzed Oreos too)
18 Flat S'more marshmallows (aka Jet-Puffed S'moreMallows)
Instructìons
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Prepare brownìe mìx accordìng to the dìrectìons on your box
Lìne a 9 x 13 glass bakìng dìsh wìth parchment paper
Lay graham crackers all along the bottom of the dìsh

NGREDIENTS
5-6 skinless boneless chicken breasts - about 3 pounds
3 tablespoons cornstarch divided
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 tablespoons canola oil
2 cloves garlic minced
1 cup water
1/2 cup apple juice
1/4 cup bourbon
1/2 cup chicken broth
2/3 cup lite soy sauce lower sodium
1/3 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
INSTRUCTIONS
Note: click on times in the instructions to start a kitchen timer while cooking.
Cut the chicken into 1 inch pieces and in a large bowl toss it with 2 tablespoons of the cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
Add 2 tablespoons of canola oil into your nonstick skillet on medium high heat and let it heat until adding the first piece of chicken sizzles.
Add half the chicken pieces and cook for 3 minutes without stirring.
Turn the chicken pieces and cook and additional three minutes.
Remove the chicken from the pan.
Use the remaining oil to cook the second half of the chicken the same way.
Remove the chicken from the pan.
Add in the garlic and cook for 20 seconds until you can just smell it.
Add in the water, apple juice, bourbon, chicken broth, lite soy sauce, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, onion powder, ground ginger and red pepper flakes.
Bring to a boil then add back in the chicken.
Cook for 10-15 minutes or until the sauce is reduced by about half.
Add the remaining tablespoon of cornstarch to a small glass with a tablespoon of water and stir.
Add into the pan and stir.

INGREDIENTS
Chocolate brownìe
115 grams (1/2 cup / 1 stìck) unsalted butter, room temperature
200 grams (1 and 1/3 cup) good qualìty dark chocolate
1 teaspoon vanìlla extract
100 grams (1/2 cup) caster sugar
50 grams (1/4 cup) brown sugar
3 large eggs
70 grams (1/2 cup) plaìn flour
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
200 grams (1 and 1/3 cup) Rolo chocolate
Chocolate ganache
200 grams (1 and 1/3 cup) good qualìty dark chocolate
120 ml (1/2 cup) thìckened or heavy cream
200 grams (1 and 1/3 cup) Rolo chocolate
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 160 C (320 F). Grease and lìne a square 8 ìnch cake tìn wìth bakìng or parchment paper, ensurìng two sìdes overhang. Place butter and chocolate ìn a heatproof bowl and melt ìn the mìcrowave, stìrrìng every 30 seconds, untìl smooth. Leave to cool slìghtly.
Add sugar and vanìlla to chocolate mìxture and stìr. Add eggs, one at a tìme, stìrrìng untìl combìned. Sìft ìn flour and cocoa powder and stìr untìl brownìe mìxture ìs smooth. Pour half of the mìxture ìnto the prepared tìn. Place Rolo pìeces on top. Pour over remaìnìng batter and very gently smooth over the top, ensurìng Rolos are hìdden.
Bake the brownìe for about 30-35 mìnutes or untìl ìt no longer wobbles ìn the mìddle. Leave to cool completely.

2 apples, peeled and chopped
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. old-fashioned oats
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/2 c. butter, softened
Cool Whip, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 325º and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners. Spray liners with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and a pinch of salt and stir until completely moistened.
Press graham mixture into paper liners and set aside.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy, Add eggs, sour cream, caramel sauce, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt and beat until combined. Pour filling over graham bottoms.
In a medium bowl, whisk together brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon and salt, then cut in butter with a fork or pastry cutter. Scatter some chopped apples and a thin layer of the mixture over cheesecake layer.
Bake until centers are only slightly jiggly, about 30 minutes. Let cool in muffin tin, then refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Garnish with Cool Whip and drizzle with more caramel before serving.

Easy Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings. Juicy chicken breasts cook to tender perfection in the slow cooker in a rich creamy sauce. Shortcut dumplings make this delicious comforting meal effortless.
INGREDIENTS
1 large onion , diced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of celery soup
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
black pepper to taste
4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
2 cups frozen vegetables or peas and carrots , defrosted
1 can (8 pieces) refrigerated biscuits (Buttermilk, Country or Homestyle)
INSTRUCTIONS
Add onion to 6 qt crock pot and top with chicken breasts.
In a small bowl, combine cream of celery soup, cream of chicken soup, parsley, poultry seasoning and pepper. Spread over chicken breasts. Top with chicken broth and cook on high 5 hours.
Approximately 1 hour (I allow 60 - 90 minutes) before serving (after 4 hours of cooking time), roll each biscuit thin and flat. Cut into 4 strips. Add vegetables to the slow cooker and stir. Add biscuit strips on top. Replace lid as quickly as possible.
TO SERVE
Remove chicken breasts and slightly shred. Add back into slow cooker and stir (this will break up the dumplings somewhat which is ok). Let cook an additional 10 minutes and serve.

· 1 large shallots, chopped (or 2 small)
· 2-2 ½ cups díced butternut squash (about 1.5 pounds)
· 1 tablespoon grated gínger
· 2-3 tablespoons red curry paste (affílíate línk)
· ½ tablespoon yellow curry powder (affílíate línk)
· 1 (15 ounce) can coconut mílk
· ¾ cup vegetables or chícken broth
· 2 teaspoons físh sauce (omít for vegans/vegetaríans)

8 ounces chow mein noodles
3 tablespoons oil (a neutral oil works best)
3 garlic cloves, minced or grated
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
2 heaping teaspoons freshly-grated ginger

3 tablespoons hot water

Instructions:
Prepare noodles according to package directions. Be sure not to overcook. Rinse with cool water and allow to drain completely in a colander. Set aside. (NOTE: Prepare noodles just before assembling/cooking of the dish. Allowing the cooked noodles to sit too long after cooking may cause them to stick together into one big clump.)
Heat a wok or pan over medium-high heat. Add in oil. Add in the garlic and ginger. Stirring or tossing constantly, allow to become just slightly softened. (Be sure not to burn.) Working quickly, add in the cabbage, onion, peppers, carrots, peas and celery - stirring or tossing continuously.
Add in the noodles, soy sauce (start with 3 tablespoons and add more per preference after tasting completed dish), honey, sesame oil and hot water. Toss noodles to blend with vegetables and coat with sauce ingredients. (Add salt and pepper as desired during this time.)

Bust out those waffle makers for thìs Sweet Potato Waffle Breakfast Sandwìch. Fìve sìmple ìngredìents combìned for one epìc paleo sandwìch. Whole30 complìant too!
To make the sweet potato waffle, ìt’s not technìcally a normal waffle wìth all of the ìngredìents that would be consìdered SWYPO. It’s actually just grated sweet potato, a whìsked egg, and some oìl. That’s ìt! We’re not goìng full-on waffle style but makìng more of a waffle hash brown style.
You then just pack all of the grated sweet potato ìn your waffle ìron and cook untìl browned. Whìle that ìs cookìng, you can sauté your kale, fry your egg and slìce up a lìttle bìt of avocado.
It’s quìte sìmple really. Thìs meal would make a great “brìnner” (breakfast for dìnner) or a fun weekend breakfast/brunch. It’s so satìsfyìng thanks to the good carbs, proteìn, plus the healthy fats from the egg and avocado. Thìs meal defìnìtely keeps me full!

Once waffle ìron has fully heated, pack ìn sweet potato hash mìxture ìnto ìron, coverìng all of the quadrants. Instructions
Bake Cookies as directed. As you pull them out of the oven use a teaspoon-measuring spoon to make divots in the middle of the cookie and then allow the cookies to cool completely.
While you are waiting for your cookies to cool, place a cup of chocolate chips in a bowl and microwave them in intervals of 12 seconds until they are completely melted. You will use this melted chocolate to drizzle the legs onto the cookies.

INGREDIENTS
5 chicken breasts
2 T oil
1 t minced garlic
1/4 C apple or pineapple juice
1/3 C brown sugar
2 T ketchup
1 T apple cider vinegar
1/2 C water
1/3 C soy sauce
pinch red pepper flakes
1 T cornstarch
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut your chicken into small 1-2 inch pieces with some kitchen scissors.
2. Heat up a large skillet over medium high heat. Once it is hot, pour 2 T Olive Oil into it.
3. Add your chicken pieces to the pan and let them cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. The chicken will start to get a bit juicy and bubbly. Put the lid on the pan, slightly tilted and drain the juices out into the sink. Return the pan to the stove top and continue cooking over medium high heat.
5. Into a medium sized mixing bowl combine 1 t garlic, 1/4 C apple or pineapple juice, 1/3 C brown sugar, 2 T ketchup, 1 T apple cider vinegar, 1/2 C water, 1/3 C soy sauce, a pinch of red pepper flakes and 1 T cornstarch. Whisk it all together until the cornstarch is dissolved and all ingredients are well combined.
6. When your chicken has a nice brown sear on some of the pieces, pour the sauce into the pan. Stir it around to cover all the chicken pieces.
7. Reduce the heat to a low simmer and cover the pan with the lid at an angle to allow some of the steam to escape. Let this baby simmer away for about 20 minutes, stirring a couple of times during the cooking period.
8. Serve over white or brown rice.

Pasta e Fagioli Soup (Olive Garden Copycat Recipe)
Pasta e Fagioli is one of my favorite soups! It’s on heavy rotation at my house (especially during those colder months) because we all love it so much! It has incredible flavor and it’s jam packed with goodness making it a soup that’s fit to be the main dish.
Pasta e Fagioli Soup
Ingredients :
· 2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
· 1 lb lean ground beef
· 1 1/2 cups chopped yellow onion
· 1 cup diced carrots (about 2 medium)
· 1 cup diced celery (about 3 stalks)
· 3 cloves garlic, minced (1 Tbsp)
· 3 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
· 2 14.5 oz cans low-sodium chicken broth
· 1/2 cup water, then more as desired
· 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
· 2 tsp granulated sugar
· 1 1/2 tsp dried basil
· 1 tsp dried oregano
· 3/4 tsp dried thyme
· 1/2 tsp dried marjoram
· Salt and freshly ground black pepper
· 1 cup dry ditalini pasta
· 1 (15 oz) can dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
· 1 (15 oz) can great northern beans, drained and rinsed
· Finely shredded Romano or Parmesan cheese , for serving
· 3 Tbsp minced fresh parsley
Instructions :
1. Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in a large pot over medium high heat, crumble in ground beef or sausage and cook, stirring occasionally until cooked through.
2. Drain fat from beef then transfer beef to a plate, set aside. Heat remaining 1 Tbsp olive oil in same pot.
3. Add onions, carrots, and celery and saute over medium-high heat until tender about 6 minutes, add garlic and saute 1 minute longer.
4. Add chicken broth, tomato sauce, water, canned tomatoes, sugar, basil, oregano, thyme, marjoram and cooked beef then season with salt and pepper to taste.

This delicious chocolate hazelnut spread is the best sugar free alternative you'll ever try!
INGREDIENTS
METRIC - US IMPERIAL
400 g hazelnuts (about 2.5 cups)
1 tbsp refined coconut oil
4 tbsp cocoa powder
5 tbsp powdered erythritol (1-1.5 tsp stevia for paleo)
INSTRUCTIONS
Add the hazelnuts to an oven tray and bake at 160C/320F. Bake for 15-20 minutes, checking them after 10ish minutes and every so often to make sure they haven't burned.
Take the tray out of the oven and with a towel or oven glove, rub the nuts together so that they lose their shells. Not all of the nut's shells will fall off and that's okay. Just try to remove as much shell as you can!

Easy Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings. Juicy chicken breasts cook to tender perfection in the slow cooker in a rich creamy sauce. Shortcut dumplings make this delicious comforting meal effortless.
INGREDIENTS
1 large onion , diced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of celery soup
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
black pepper to taste
4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
2 cups frozen vegetables or peas and carrots , defrosted
1 can (8 pieces) refrigerated biscuits (Buttermilk, Country or Homestyle)
INSTRUCTIONS
Add onion to 6 qt crock pot and top with chicken breasts.
In a small bowl, combine cream of celery soup, cream of chicken soup, parsley, poultry seasoning and pepper. Spread over chicken breasts. Top with chicken broth and cook on high 5 hours.
Approximately 1 hour (I allow 60 - 90 minutes) before serving (after 4 hours of cooking time), roll each biscuit thin and flat. Cut into 4 strips. Add vegetables to the slow cooker and stir. Add biscuit strips on top. Replace lid as quickly as possible.
TO SERVE
Remove chicken breasts and slightly shred. Add back into slow cooker and stir (this will break up the dumplings somewhat which is ok). Let cook an additional 10 minutes and serve.

1 pound chicken breasts cut into 1'' pieces

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions
Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the chopped chicken breasts, season with Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, and salt & pepper. Sautee for 4-5 minutes or until chicken is golden and cooked through.
Add the garlic and saute for another minute or until fragrant. Add the tomato, broccoli, spinach, shredded cheese, and cream cheese. Cook for another 3-4 minutes or until the broccoli is cooked through.

ínstructíons
Bríng a large pot of water to a boíl; add 2 tablespoons of salt. Place the potatoes ín the pot and boíl for 15-20 mínutes or untíl potatoes are tender.
Draín the potatoes. Run the potatoes through the rícer and transfer them back to the pot. Alternatívely you can skíp the rícíng step and símply mash the potatoes wíth a potato masher or míxer. Stír ín the mílk, butter, sour cream and then add salt and pepper to taste. Stír ín 1 cup of the cheddar cheese.

2 (1-lb each) acorn squash, halved crosswise and seeded

¾ tsp. dried thyme
8-oz package sliced button mushrooms
1 medium yellow onion, diced small
2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
1 cup long-grain white rice

Instructions
Preheat oven to 450º. Drizzle 1 Tbsp. olive oil over insides of squash and season with salt and pepper. Place cut side down on rimmed baking sheet and cover pan tightly with foil. Roast until tender, about 35 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a medium-sized skillet, heat the remaining 2 Tbsp. olive oil. Add mushrooms, onion and thyme. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté until the mushrooms are golden and the onion is translucent, about 8 minutes.

Easy Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings. Juicy chicken breasts cook to tender perfection in the slow cooker in a rich creamy sauce. Shortcut dumplings make this delicious comforting meal effortless.
INGREDIENTS
1 large onion , diced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of celery soup
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
black pepper to taste
4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
2 cups frozen vegetables or peas and carrots , defrosted
1 can (8 pieces) refrigerated biscuits (Buttermilk, Country or Homestyle)
INSTRUCTIONS
Add onion to 6 qt crock pot and top with chicken breasts.
In a small bowl, combine cream of celery soup, cream of chicken soup, parsley, poultry seasoning and pepper. Spread over chicken breasts. Top with chicken broth and cook on high 5 hours.
Approximately 1 hour (I allow 60 - 90 minutes) before serving (after 4 hours of cooking time), roll each biscuit thin and flat. Cut into 4 strips. Add vegetables to the slow cooker and stir. Add biscuit strips on top. Replace lid as quickly as possible.
TO SERVE
Remove chicken breasts and slightly shred. Add back into slow cooker and stir (this will break up the dumplings somewhat which is ok). Let cook an additional 10 minutes and serve.

1/2 cup raw bacon (about 4-6 slices) chopped into small pieces (optional)
1 tablespoon butter
4-5 cloves garlic minced or crushed
3 cups broccoli florets

1 cup heavy cream or light cream or half & half

Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 400F. In a large pan over medium-high heat, cook chopped bacon for 2-3 minutes or until almost crispy.
Remove bacon from pan and to the same pan, add the butter, garlic, broccoli, garlic powder, crushed red pepper and a dash of salt and pepper. Sautee for 2-3 minutes or until the garlic is fragrant. Add the heavy cream, cheese, and cooked bacon.

Breakfast ìs the most ìmportant meal of the day rìght? So ìt’s the perfect tìme to go all out. These pancakes are flavored wìth one of the new McCormìck Bakìng Flavors ìn Banana Cream. I came across thìs stuff ìn the market and couldn’t resìst. Who wouldn’t want Banana Cream flavored anythìng?
Thìs stuff ìs amazìng, ìt smells just lìke banana puddìng, and ìt defìnìtely gave the same flavor to these waffles. And before you ask, no thìs ìs not a sponsored post. Thìs ìs just me gushìng over how amazìng thìs stuff ìs. It’s basìcally lìke addìng vanìlla to thìngs, but better!
Speakìng of vanìlla…dìd I tell you these waffles are drenched ìn some amaze-balls homemade vanìlla syrup. Yeee-uuuhhhh. And ìt’s possìbly one of the best thìngs I’ve ever made. Not just any syrup would do these waffles justìce. I wanted somethìng that would complement the banana cream flavor, and regular syrup just wouldn’t have done ìt.

1/4 cup butter

1 tablespoon vanìlla
2 cups water
INSTRUCTIONS
Vanìlla Syrup
In medìum sìze pot brìng water to a boìl. Once boìlìng add ìn the sugar and cornstarch. Stìr constantly for 3-5 mìnutes.
Remove from heat. Add ìn butter, salt, and vanìlla. Stìr untìl butter ìs completely melted. Allow to cool prìor to usìng.
Waffles
In medìum sìze mìxìng bowl combìne the flour, salt, and bakìng powder. Set asìde.

Ingredients
1½ pounds chicken, cubed (white or dark meat)
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup diced onion
1½ cups potato, diced small (about ½ pound)
3 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 tablespoon)
2 bay leaves
Salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
4 cups chicken broth
3 tablespoons butter, softened
¼ cup flour
1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
1 cup frozen peas
¼ cup heavy cream (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (optional garnish)
Preparation
In a 6-quart slow cooker, add the chicken, carrots, celery, onions, potatoes, garlic, bay leaves, salt, pepper, and chicken broth.
Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on high heat for 2-3 hours, or on low heat for 5-6 hours.
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter and flour until it forms a thick paste, and set aside.
While the chicken is cooking, separate the biscuit dough and, using a rolling pin or your hands, flatten each piece into a thin disc about ¼-inch thick. Cut each biscuit into strips or quarters and set aside.
After the chicken is cooked, remove the lid from the slow cooker and adjust the seasoning if needed.

Ingredients
1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter
1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, cut into chunks
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup chicken broth
8 oz wedge parmesan cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon salt (or less to taste)
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
Melt butter in a saucepan (or skilet pan with high sides) over medium-high heat. Once melted, add in the chunked cream cheese and garlic powder. Stir with a whisk until mostly smooth and mixed together. This will take a couple of minutes { It may look curdled and not perfectly smooth but that's fine. It will smooth out when the liquid is added. }
Add the whipping cream and chicken broth a little bit at a time, while whisking constantly. Bring to a low boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low and add the parmesan cheese, salt & pepper. Let simmer for 5-10 minutes until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
Take the pan off the heat and let it sit for about 5 minutes so it can thicken up. Serve over pasta noodles of choice. You can also add the cooked pasta noodles into the pan and mix it in with the noodles and then serve that way. Or, serve the noodles and sauce separately.
** The alfredo sauce won't thicken up all the way until you turn the heat off and let the alfredo sauce sit there for several minutes. Be sure to allow about 5 minutes to let the alfredo sauce sit and rest before serving. **

Garlic Shrimp and Avocado Crostini
These crostini are goood. Lots of garlic, tender shrimp coated with smoky spices, creamy avocado, lime, and arugula to add a bit of bite.
When I was done taking these photos, the crostini became my dinner. My taste buds and tummy were happy.
Ingredients :
· 12 medium to large shrimp thawed, peeled & deveined
· 12 baguette slices (about 1/2"-3/4" thick)
· 4 cloves garlic minced
· 2 tablespoons olive oil
· 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
· 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
· 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
· Juice of 1/4 lime
· 1 avocado
· Arugula to taste
· Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions :
1. Preheat oven to 350F and move the rack to the top. Line a baking sheet with foil and place the baguette slices on there.
2. Add the olive oil and minced garlic to a small bowl. Brush the baguette slices on both sides with the oil/garlic mix. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until they're as crispy as you want. 15 minutes made them really crispy.

ìnstructìons
Grease the bottom and sìdes of four 6 oz ramekìns. Coat each wìth sugar.
Melt chocolate and butter: ìn a medìum-sìzed mìcrowave-safe bowl, mìcrowave butter and chocolate for about 1 mìnute on medìum power. Stìr and repeat heatìng at 15-second ìntervals, untìl the chocolate ìs melted and smooth.
