AOL made chatting with your friends over the internet possible by creating AOL Instant-Message. By creating a user name, you can add your friends user names which appear on your buddy list that allows you to chat with anyone else with an account.
A platform for conversation, Instant Space is a series of curtains designed by Zurich-based architects Nele Dechmann and Ortreport to host discussions, workshops, and interrogations. The curtains embody a maxim of flexibility and fluidity.
The images printed on the curtains present a juxtaposition of liminal environments: “in-between” spaces where political and social rules are typically suspended. The five prints have an unexpected element adding to the environment, which opens up a field of narratives and interpretations.
Instant Space exists alongside five keywords formed by Swiss designers Atlas through recombining fragments of foundational terms that raise questions and spark discussions.
The installation is an artistic response to the swissnex Salon, serving as a setting for different forms of interaction and exchange within the swissnex Gallery. The space creates a variety of atmospheric environments, from generous and open to intimate and immersive.

While the photo was actually produced with a "Polaroid-like" white boarder, I felt it was too flat, and replaced it with a real one in Photoshop.
Andy and Frank became instant friends. It is funny how dogs will attach themselves to one person more than others in a group. Andy is my niece's boyfriend.
I took this picture of 3rd floor roof tiles across from the hospital greenhouse. The window pane was absolutely filthy. Never been cleaned on the outside. As expected, the grime did show up...but the result had a natural sepia look! How about that, effect fans! This is pretty much right out of the camera.
He wasn't too enthused about this project, but tough, he's one of my own personal Instant Fave's, being my oldest son. :-)

If any weird light marks are showing up, those are from folds in the Polaroids themselves from Greg folding them up, essentially 'composing' the shot without having to move the camera.
