While the photo was actually produced with a "Polaroid-like" white boarder, I felt it was too flat, and replaced it with a real one in Photoshop.
Don't know what in the heck happened yesterday with these photos and the comment section --- sorry for the confusion: I really wanted everyone to see all these cutie-pie photos of this beautiful creature, and then ended up deleting them all when someone said a couple didn't show up in the comment section. So here's a repeat of my narrative and all the pics from the original post, I think. Please don't feel extra comments are necessary --- just wanted all to see how darn darling this Gal was: By the way the first photo made Explore and I am really amazed AGAIN -- I think the computer that makes the choices is stuck on my photostream by accident for some reason. Although it's exciting to get up in the morning & see that, it's kind of embarrassing, too. I see SO MANY much better images every single day from my contacts and friends. I will continue to label them, but believe me I am beyond thinking it is anything but a glitch.
If I ever had a pet bird --- and I NEVER would have a pet bird --- but if I did, it would be a Snowy Owl. I went up to VINS (Vermont Institute of Natural Science - a rehabilitation Center for Raptors from all over the United States) yesterday with Jesse and my Grandson, for my third visit. It was a marvelous day, weather perfect, got there at 3:30 just in time for a great demonstration on Bird Flight, but the high-light of my day was this darling Snowy Owl. She was so injured that she will never be able to fly again, and so obviously never released back into the wild. But she has a wonderful home now among very caring and knowledgeable care-takers at this rehab center and definitely seems to be enjoying life. She is a screecher though --- reminds me of the family of Catbirds in the bush across my lawn -- complaining all the time.

My SIL gave me a packet of Korean Instant Noodles the other day. I cooked it for supper one late night. I added an egg to it. Comes with a separate packet with dried chilli and spring onions. It's spicy and sour; iLikey! I forgot to take a pic of the noodle packaging, sorry ya. Cant even tell you all which brand also. Next time, ok.
There are a lot of programs today that will simulate a Polaroid for you, but nothing holds a candle to the real instant wonder!

Taken 4/3/13, during the event with Oscar-nominated actor, writer, author, director, and singer Nia Vardalos. She came into the spotlight when her little independent film, My Big Fat Greek Wedding became an enormous smash hit. She was nominated for a Best Original Screenplay Oscar, a Best Actress Golden Globe, and a Screen Actors Guild award for Best Ensemble. She won an Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance. She has since done a lot of other stuff.
