So I replaced the handles with porcelain, but I had to use the chrome in the interim. Notice instead of the letter "H" for hot water I am using the more European "F" fancy frenchmen

New (well, second-hand) IKEA light fixture fully installed. I love it! It makes such cool shadows on the wall.
After successful installation (twice!) on a Power Mac G5, we experienced multiple failures on an original Intel iMac. Finally, it appeared that the iMac was failing to read the DVD correctly. What a (long) pain. Fortunately, we DID do a complete backup first.
(By the way, trying to boot the iMac at this point (after a failed install) results in a "blue screen of death" - that is, hanging at boot time with nothing but a blank blue screen on the display. (Booting with the Option key held down, does initiate the startup disk-picking dialog, which is how we were able to get to the point shown here.)

Pelavin Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of new work by Timothy Paul Myers, titled The Ontario Ration. In celebration of Pelavin Gallery ’s thirty year anniversary, in January 2011, Myers bases this exhibition on a found business ledger chronicling the last thirty-years of an egg farmer named Myron B. Johnson, circa 1899-1929. This will be Myers first solo exhibition at the gallery.
Repetition and the use of unlikely materials—two prominent themes in Myers' work—continue to be displayed in this exhibition, as Myers makes use of hundreds of pages from a thirty-year business ledger of Myron B. Johnson, circa 1899-1929; one-thousand trading cards, circa 1900s-1930s; and one-hundred-thousand stacked pencil pieces individually topped with a single drop of acrylic paint from the artist's palette of over one-hundred-fifty hand-mixed colors.

The process of designing, building, and installing the shed for drying wood on my property was fun (minus the million ticks and chiggers). It will be a great place to store all of my wood for future campfires and projects!

"Marshall Arts" installer's freckled arms.
Modern Head, a steel sculpture by Roy Lichtenstein, was installed Wednesday, August 27, 2008, outside the Smithsonian American Art Museum, at the corner of F and Ninth Streets, NW, in Washington, D.C. According to Patsy Tompkins from the James Goodman Gallery, Marshall Arts is "the only" company that can handle installing the 31 foot tall, 13,000 pound steel sculpture.
Finished my first-ever custom build of a gaming PC this evening! It went pretty flawlessly. It was quite a thrill when it sucessfully booted up the first time :-)
Here's a shot of the innards right after installing the motherboard. Prior to that, I had already installed the high-end CPU heat sink and fan, the RAM, and the power supply.

While oxygen cylinders arrive at Al Sadaqa Hospital in Aden Governorate.
Oxygen refilling service is a critical service that needs an exit strategy to avoid any challenges with
providing such a life-saving service. As the oxygen stations in the IRG region are still not fully
installed nor operational, there is still a gap in the need for oxygen, particularly in the USAID supported health facilities that are not covered by any other donor. Moreover, the current
vaccination rate in the southern governorates is still very low, despite all the efforts being made to
do community sensitization and offer vaccination in fixed sites. For that reason, the risk of COVID-19
exposure and complications is still high.
The current consumption of oxygen (number of oxygen cylinders) for the USAID supported HFs for
Jan & Feb = 9,880 cylinders for 24 HFs. Based on the current consumption rates and health facility’s
need for oxygen, WHO calculated the projections for oxygen refilling services for the next 6 months,
from April 2022 to September 2022. Table 1 below shows the breakdown of the supported facilities
and their oxygen consumption projections.
For the above reasons, we advise continuing to provide this life-saving service of oxygen refilling for
the third and fourth quarters with a total amount of USD 519,000, utilizing the remaining balance.
As the COVID-19 evolves in Yemen, WHO will continue updating USAID on the oxygen situation and
the priority activities needed to sustain effective case management of COVID-19.
