i have a project in response to the performance called a flower every day
where i blog about my visits to the performance and document the flowers i have drawn.
while abromovic's show has ended, my project goes on until i finalize the installation.

I'm certainly not the first to notice this. The installation of this piece sets up a view of the UT Tower that UT probably never intended. There are better shots on flickr, but I thought I'd be "nice" and give UT really big balls.
Art installation in Melbourne (shot September 2009). The shapes were made using plastic packaging as casts. So the shape is the plastic that encased the original object.
I forget the exact location, just that it was in a subway.

The Playboy Sign was deemed not an art installation but an advertisement akin to a billboard and ordered removed by the State of Texas. It resurfaced in Dallas in 2014.
In this piece I was also exploring ideas of growth and organic coverage, which in this case manifests itself as a weed-like growth. This piece was made through individual cinched and strung pieces that were installed into this particular location. The large growth on the branch was constructed over a period of 4 months.
