One Love Beach Buddha
“In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.” – Buddha
The “line_up“ is a paperwork series I developed since 2010. The “liners” are made out of paper (Din A3/A4),
oil paint and graphite. The theme is the hermetical laws of polarity and movement. There is no ending and no beginning in any direction, just an endless movement. You have the possibility to arrange the papers like you want and that makes it an endless playground for my photo-work and the eyes of the viewers.

This HDR photo overlooks Shoal Creek in Joplin, MO and called Inspiration Point. It's a beautiful spot on the south-side of town in a secluded neighborhood above the creek with an excellent view.

State of mind at the time...Inspiration...
This is my third year back to Enchantments during its larch season. There is something special about this place that draws me to return again and again. I like the pristine alpine lakes here with granite rock and mountains in the surroundings. The golden larches during autumn season just makes this already photogenic place extra special.
To make the best of my time here, I did lots of research on the potential places to scout and shoot. This is my first location off the beaten path and I am really glad how this image turns out. The fleeting moment when the sun rises just above the horizon is always a memorable moment to capture.
Music is always on my mind when exploring to find inspiration for that tune to jump out.
Keep positive you will find it.
Sakura contemplates the graffiti artist’s message with a smile… or is she the artist herself? Say, what’s she got in that case?

I was warming up my frosty car one morning before I went to my son's house... and thought the tree on the lawn looked so pretty and framed through the window... thankfully I always carry my small camera...
I did process this image, just to make it a little more artsy...
I'm not able to find enough time to follow my eyes! Everywhere I go I see something, but especially when is calm and relaxing like Maldives. The white sand itself gave me a lot of inspirational thoughts..

A collaboration with my friend boyintree92 for the Inspiration Tree pool.
This was a great project. As most of you know, it is difficult not to be inspired by Charlie. I was so tickled to get to work with him. I can't wait to see what else we come up with.

Cockpit of the inspiration. We spotted this jet boat parked in Steamboat Landing, Glen Cove, New York. It is said to do 170 mph. It runs on two hugh engines (jet fuel, I think), and it is so loud, the passengers and driver must wear headphones. Please view the next photo to see it in action
We recently went on a trip to Banff National Park. We saw some amazing sights and wildlife and I took many pictures. Of all the pictures I took, this is my favourite. I saw these clouds and ran to get my camera. I had to lean around a corner of the balcony of the place we were staying to get even a partially unobstructed view. This was the best I could do. These clouds and light made me think of Lawren Harris.
