The Atala Butterfly is native to Florida. I found this in the same location as last year.

But good luck for this tiny spider which was enjoying its lunch as I approached with my camera.

Common carder bee homing in on a potentilla flower in my garden

I think the swamp is beautiful close up and this is the season for butterflies. The only problem was, I had on the 400mm lens which is not the best butterfly lens.
