Male fulvous forest skimmer or black stream glider (Neurothemis fulvia), This species is widely distributed in southern and eastern Asia and flies throughout the year. Normally found in marshes associated with forest rivers and streams. This specimen photographed in Kenting National Park, Taiwan.

The blue and purples of the garden gave this shot a cool cast, so I just emphasised it slightly.

This ones a Ischnura from the Coenagrionidae family.

Not sure about the exact species though. Could be any one of these 3 - Ischnura aurora / Ischnura senegalensis /Ischnura forcipata

But good luck for this tiny spider which was enjoying its lunch as I approached with my camera.

I think the swamp is beautiful close up and this is the season for butterflies. The only problem was, I had on the 400mm lens which is not the best butterfly lens.

I haven't been on Flickr much lately. We are having a difficult time where I work and things are very stressful. So, I haven't been able to spend the time to post and comment on others' photos. I also haven't been out with my camera for several weeks. (I've just been doing Instagram from my phone, which is a nice outlet.) Not sure when things are going to turn around but I'll try and post some more here, this community means a lot to me.
