Tropical insects...The reason for such high diversity is the age of the forest which is around 100 million years old. Also the stable climate has allowed life forms to fill and create more niches in the ecosystem. But most of all is the relation with insects and plant, insects are almost inseparable from plants because they require each other to survive.

At first I thought this was a hoverfly because it was so tiny, but on closer look I think it may bee a bee! But I am doubting myself! I know someone out there will be eager to keep me right! So Please feel free to put me out of my misery! Happy Weekend Everyone ;0)

Not sure what this insect is. I was potting up geraniums and it popped in for a drink.
