At first I thought this was a hoverfly because it was so tiny, but on closer look I think it may bee a bee! But I am doubting myself! I know someone out there will be eager to keep me right! So Please feel free to put me out of my misery! Happy Weekend Everyone ;0)

This robber fly has caught a rice spittle bug. It will use its proboscis to inject digestive juices into the bug and suck out the soup.

Swamp Milkweed with some Butterfly Weed in the background, as well as a couple pairs of amorous Large Milkweed Beetles.
I have to be honest I didn't spot the caterpillar when I was looking for a web today, so that was a bonus when I clicked and zoomed! HWW
Most of you know that I am terrified of all things with more than four legs but for the sake of the project I have to make the most of every photo opportunity. Unlucky guy has lost one of his leg.
