It simply bugs me that at those very precise instances you perfectly sense that they will stay with you forever, for reasons only you apprehend.
They are merely nothing more than a blink, a glance, an expression, the beam of light, the fluffiness …
And yet those rare and precious rendezvous’ are, when post reflected upon, often hesitant and shy landmarks of a personal turnaround.
They leave you interspersed between what you know, what you long for and what you don’t want any longer; unveiling the brutal fact that we merely have many more options than we tend to rely on. They summon you to face your inner demons, to abandon some fear and to ignore the ratio.
Every now and then I dream this face. Every wrinkle, line, blemish is visible. The softness of it is touchable, within reach. I attempt to touch it, somewhere in the twilight zone between sleep and a wary awakening. I can see every detail of it; recall the quietude of the venue that specific afternoon, the smell of citrus and basil, the hangover of a no discussion, the bitterness of words out of tune, the longing for acceptance as you are. I can see every single detail of it and yet it is transparent, fading away. And then it is gone. Into the night and into past. Evaporated like a cheap perfume.

Okay, so i know i missed last weeks photo and i hate myself for it. But these last two weeks have been total hell.
Finals were last week and i was super busy, i didn't even have time to get on and check my mail. I got overly stressed and decided to just forget about it.
On top of finals my iPhone dropped in the toilet D: i should've kept it in rice longer but it seemed fine at the time. it sent me to recovery mode on itunes where i lost EVERYTHING. the backup didn't go through, so i didn't have it saved):
I bawled. I'm going through the grief process. Ill wake up in the morning, and reach over to where my iphone usually sat to check the weather, and realize everything on there is gone. Then ill burst into tears.

Yes. i know this is pretty boring and horribly done. but I really haven't been in the mood for editing or taking photos:/ just havent. the face on top looks like a freakin cat. v.v fail.
I have a headache. and im still stressed. Im getting off.

This photo is a result of watching too much Charmed I'm on series 4 at the moment. After Buffy the Vampire ending years ago I refused to replace it but eventually I've given in Charmed isn't as good but it's got a chick flick appeal and Paige's lovely retro makeup that's keeping me hooked. I made this photo for a photography theme which was 'pain' I find when doing self portraits a lot of the time it's therapeutic as I got to take out some frustration that I didn't know I had bottled up. Setup: I used an off camera flash above my head pointing at me.

So this will probably be my last upload until after midterms. Well, maybe. I'm going to a hockey tournament this weekend out of state so probably no upload then, and for the rest of the week I have my own games, plus a ton of studying. Then, I'm moving!

Back to the photo. This was, for some odd reason, inspired by my history homework. I sometimes doodle, though I cannot draw for my life. After I drew a figure, I stabbed a hole through the middle and got the concept for this. Maybe if I get a facebook page like I've been thinking, I can post the original drawing. Facebook page: yay or nay?
I've also been thinking about starting another project. I'm planning on shooting once a week, so I feel like a 52 Weeks wouldn't motivate me enough, yet I'm not planning on starting a 365 again, since I barely kept up. Ideas?
