Daniel and I visited Max at his home a few weeks ago, we wandered through forests and drove by fields, and I realized that I really needed to work on my inner peace, especially when being out and about.

After a hard day's work, my boyfriend lit some candles in the bathroom, and poured a bath to find rest in my soul.
Efter en tuff dag på jobbet möttes jag av tända ljus i badrummet och ett varmt väldoftande bad, för att jag skulle hitta lugn och ro.
When I photograph, it is with an open eye that I look at the world, and with a closed eye that I look inside myself. (Henri Cartier-Bresson)

Something in the moment she enfolded her head on my neck and kissed, the way i felt her softness and thousands of volcanos erupt inside my chest. A moment full of love.
I have always been an old soul. A wreckage and I stopped trying to be whole since the day you told me you love broken things easily.
Each of us go through moments when we feel life much more than our heart can take.
Some of these moments are so magnificent that you want them to annihilate and revamp you at the same time. One of those moments come in form of Love.
Have you ever had a moment like that?
"My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished 2 bags of M&M's and a chocolate cake. I feel better already.”

If time could stand still and we could choose the time, it would be moments like these that I would freeze for eternity. A magical sky, the sun setting, forgetting the worries and cherishing the moments. As photographers, freezing time is one of the most magical and powerful tools we have. We can make these moments last a lifetime.

~The Summer Day~
Who made the world?
Who made the swan, and the black bear?
Who made the grasshopper?
This grasshopper, I mean-
the one who has flung herself out of the grass,
the one who is eating sugar out of my hand,
who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down-
who is gazing around with her enormous and complicated eyes.
Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face.
Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away.
I don't know exactly what a prayer is.
I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down
into the grass, how to kneel down in the grass,
how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,
which is what I have been doing all day.
Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn't everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?
~Mary Oliver~

There are moments in life when an old self has to die. Not in the physical sense, but in the way an organism sheds a skin, discards what no longer serves, and allows something truer to emerge. It is a violent but necessary process — a collapse of what was bound by the chains of the world’s toxicity, the slow cancers of doubt, fear, and compromise.
In real time, it feels like disintegration. The structures you built around yourself crack, the illusions of safety peel away, and the scaffolding of who you thought you were crumbles into dust. But within that destruction is a release. The organism, stripped bare, is free to draw breath without the weight of corrosion.
And then comes the rebirth. Slowly, tenderly, a new form takes shape — one not dictated by the poison of the past but by the clarity of liberation. It is catharsis embodied: raw, unfiltered, and alive. What rises from the ashes is not a version of what was lost, but something entirely other — a creature that carries the scars of collapse as sacred markings of survival, and a heart that beats untethered to the world’s chains.
To witness this process — to live it — is to know that death is not always an end. Sometimes, it is the truest beginning.
