Behind the trees you can see part of our house,

the "old school house" of our town.

It was build in 1847 and used as a school until 1961.

I have to learn to color the sky in photoshop.... would

give it a somewhat nicer look ;)))

They are talking about the 'winter depression',while what in fact depresses us is the absence of a light. For many of us this inner light is already deemed,so we look up,up to the sky and seek for solar love- the sun light. Sometimes we can see it,sometimes the light is hidden by clouds.

This is in addition to my "Red mood" photograph, just to show the whole impression of different hues of red. First I was really angry at myself for cutting the best focused leaf right through (bottom right side).

Bounteousness... what a word! I looked up in the diciotnary for the english translation of the german word "Fülle", wanted to express the plenitude, the richness... well somehow I liked this new word I just learned. Hope it really fits for the native english speakers as well... If not... please let me know!!!

Three Sisters, Oregon. Different, colder, realer take on earlier - shot from slightly different angle:

Lightbox for best effect: 'L'

Focus is not perfect... but I liked the painterly effect.

different angle on the same Helleborus... in German they are called "Christrose" which I find a wonderful name for them.

Heiliges Licht (translation will follow...)

Heiliges Licht

Gestrandet...

in kalten Welten

Eingeschlossen

In der Dunkelheit

der Form

Strebt es

Diese Fessel

Zu sprengen

Erfolgte die Öffnung

Reicht auch

Der kleinste Spalt

Hinauszuströmen

Heiliges Licht

Umhüllt jetzt die Form

Schenkt ihr

Farbe und Wärme

So schmilzt sie dahin

Die Form wird eins

Mit dem Licht

This souvenir ball with a slight Death Star feel to it, flashes blue and red LED lights whenever it is bounced. It used to make a sound too, but fortunately that bit broke some time ago...

Entry for February's Scavenger Hunt

It was sooo windy, had a hard time to focus on the leaf...

After taking a photo of the illuminated flower, I cropped the photo and added a black backround to give it more of an affect.

Yellowstone National Park's much photographed lower falls. This is the usual view but with a different look. I've applied my "Inner Light" process.

Found these pink and orange seedlings on a walk outdoors...

Didn't have my Macro along and some sharper focus is missing,

still liked the color impact.

Just saying hello or trying to cover the face... being shy about having taken a picture...

The yellow bokeh is the vinyard... you can guess the line in the middle...

At the right.. out of the pic - are about 6 rows with blue grapes... that is the vineleaf you are seeing. I took it home... and put it inbetween heavy books... I hope the coloring will be preservated.

Zero alteration. Finger over flash.
