FREE
Free like the river
Flowin' freely through infinity
Free to be sure of
What I am and who I need not be
Free from all worries
Worries prey on oneself's troubled mind
Freer than the clock's hands
Tickin' way the times
Freer than the meaning of free that man defines
Life running through me
Till I feel my father God has called
Me having nothin'
But possessing riches more than all
And I'm free
To be nowhere
But in every place I need to be
Freer than a sunbeam
Shinning through my soul
Free from feelin' heat or knowing bitter cold
Free from conceiving the beginning
For that's the infinite start
I'm gone - gone but still living
Life goes on without a beating heart
Free like a vision
That the mind of only you can see
Freer than a raindrop
Falling from the sky
Freer than a smile in a baby's sleepin' eyes
I'm free like a river
Flowin' freely to infinity
I'm free to be sure of what
I am and who I need not be
I'm much freer - like the meaning of the word free that
crazy man defines
Free - free like the vision that
The mind of only you are ever gonna see
Free like the river my life
Goes on and on through infinity*

"I will definitely survive!" © a famous meme about a lost kitten
Dedicated to everyone, who feel depressed because of the current events.
This week I was going to make a picture about Thanksgiving, but I was too exhausted and didn't manage to take it in on time :( darkness and fear, because that's something I feel as actual for a lot of people now. But the original idea was close to the picture from my still unpublished comic (same character, very different lighting), so I remembered another idea which came in the spring. That idea was also very different, it supposed to be an anti-war picture with the crowd and a social commentary. Instead I decided to use the same lighting effect (lit a character from the inside) to make it a statement about inner light.
Anyway, the original idea was more depressing, and despite the fact that the final picture looks more hopeful, I still feel like the original idea... :(

It's still winter... yet the sun is out with spring like temperatures. The bees were fuzzing around these little wild dancers... unfortunately I didn't manage to get them on this
photograph ;-)

Salobreña is a small-sized town located on Granada’s Costa Tropical. Two main parts may be distinguished in Salobreña. The old town is a cluster of white houses in an actual maze narrow streets, allies, and small squares that sits on a rocky prominence inland. The remains of a medieval Moorish castle that tops the hill is arguably the best known tourist attraction in Salobreña. Spreading from the bottom of the old town along the coastline, there is an aggregate of hideous new developments that house tens of thousands of visitors every summer.
El Peñón de Salobreña is a rock formation situated between two of the five beaches of the municipality. Jutting more than one hundred meters into the Mediterranean Sea, it provides an assortment of vantage points perched on its rough slopes from where sunsets can be enjoyed at its fullest.
Even though I have spent most of my summer vacations and frequent weekends in Salobreña for many years, I did not seem to truly appreciate its beauty at the time. I believe some time and distance were needed for me to develop a deeper appreciation for what I still consider home.

The little purple splash in the drop is the reflection of a wonderful peony!
Lens flare...thought it added to the atmosphere in this one!
When I first saw this sculpture I visualised it as a person standing in front of a firing squad accepting inevitable death. The wall behind added to my vision as it appeared to be pock marked with bullet holes from previous executions.
In reality the sculpture Inner Light was created by John O'Connor. His work medium is contemporary figurative and his works are described as personal, emotional and poetic. The Inner Light sculpture is cold cast bronze and if you have some spare cash is for sale at £10,500.

This is another find on my morning walk... this one is
specially for Lars (unison)... it's his birthday today.. and I know
he is as addicted to morningdew shots as I am :))
Morning glories are so full of color.
Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
All mysteries of heaven are hidden deep in yourself...
you just have to discover your secret fountain of mystery!
I have taken so many photographs of these little beauties...
Now they are in second bloom and I just couldn't resist
this morning...
The uniqueness of each soul
I swear my dear son,
no one in the entire world
is as precious as you are.
Look at that mirror
Take a good look at yourself
Who else is there above and beyond you?
Now give yourself a kiss
and with sweet whispers
fill your ears to the brim.
Watch for all that beauty,
reflecting from you
and sing a love song to your existence.
You can never overdo
praising your own soul
You can never over-pamper your heart.
You are both
the father and the son,
the sugar and the sugar cane.
Who else but you,
please tell me who else
can ever take your place?
Now give yourself a smile;
What is the worth of a diamond
if it doesn't shine?
How can I ever put a price
on the diamond that you are?
You are the entire treasure of the house.
You and your shadow
are forever present in this world;
You are that glorious bird of paradise*

J'ai ta main
Nous sommes allongés
Sur l'herbe de l'été.
Il est tard.
On entend chanter
Des amoureux et des oiseaux.
On entend chuchoter
Le vent dans la campagne.
On entend chanter la montagne.
