It was such a calm Autumn night in Victoria, I had to capture this long exposure mirror image reflection in the Inner Harbour.
Shot for 20 seconds at f/22, ISO 320, full out at 28mm on a 28-300mm lens on my Nikon D600.
Residents, merchants and community members joined the Department of Public Works and Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 9th to clean up streets throughout the Inner Sunset and Upper Haight neighborhoods. Over 60 volunteers painted out graffiti, cleaned tree basins, picked up litter, and swept sidewalks from Upper Haight to 19th Avenue, including Lincoln, Irving, and Judah streets, and the Cole Valley area.

If you look at any ole' Old Town canoe, you'll see the inner stem is thin and uniform, coming to an abrupt end. In a Willits, on the other hand, every edge is slightly rounded, and the inner stem is splayed, slightly widening as it enters the boat.
Willits No. 765 and No. 813, from 1949 and 1951, respectively. 765 has been completely restored to a lustrous sheen, while 813 retains its 60 year old varnish (plus many additional layers which have begun peeling away over the years).
