For that purpose # the presence of radio station producer Ryo Osawa was necessary.
Osawa talks to Kaori during the live radio broadcast.

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One # to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other # to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days # staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow # a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left # I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left # how many times did I depend too much on her # doubt her # envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However # I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me # a guy filled with ambiguous # unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

Something evidently went wrong when Daniel was beamed up because 5 minutes later he appeared back on the rock but this time with a "chalk" outline around him. There were some crazy rays coming from the rocks as well.

Detailed iron rails on an old french colonial building located in Mobile Alabama contrast against an old brick wall. Mobile was established in 1702 by the French as the first capital of colonial La Louisiane (New France). During its first 100 years, Mobile was a colony of France, then Britain, and lastly Spain. Mobile first became a part of the USA in 1813 and in 1861, Alabama joined the Confederate States of America, which surrendered in 1865. Mardi Gras also started in Mobile!
Xanthos or Xanthus, also referred to by scholars as Arna, its Lycian name,[1] (Turkish: Ksantos, Lycian: Arñna, Greek: Ξάνθος, Latin: Xanthus) was an ancient city near the present-day village of Kınık, in Antalya Province, Turkey. The ruins are located on a hill on the left bank of the River Xanthos. The number and quality of the surviving tombs at Xanthos are a notable feature of the site, which, together with nearby Letoon, was declared to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988.
The city of Xanthos was a centre of culture and commerce for the Lycians, and later for the Persians, Greeks and Romans who in turn conquered the region. Xanthos influenced its neighbours architecturally; the Nereid Monument directly inspired the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus in the region of Caria.
History
The acropolis of Xanthos dates from the 8th century BCE.[2] The city was mentioned by ancient Greek and Roman writers. The Greek historian Strabo noted that Xanthos was the largest city in Lycia.[3] The important religious sanctuary of Leto at Letoon, 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south of Xanthos, dates from the late 6th century BC,[4] and was closely associated with the city and linked by a sacred road.[5]
Under the Persian Empire
The Greek historians Herodotus and Appian both described the conquest of the city by the Median general Harpagus on behalf of the Persian Empire, According to Herodotus, the Persians defeated a small Lycian army in the flatlands to the north of the city in c. 540 BC.[6] The Lycians retreated into the city, which Harpagus then besieged. The Lycians destroyed their acropolis, and killed their wives, children and slaves, before engaging the enemy in a suicidal attack.[7]
During the Persian occupation, a local leadership was installed and by 520 BC it was minting coins.[8] By 516 BC Xanthos had been included in the first Nomos of Darius I in the tribute list.[9]
Conquest by Alexander the Great
From Telmessos the army of Alexander the Great marched over the mountains to Xanthos. There representatives from each of the cities of the Lycian League, including the port of Phaselis, personally offered the Lycians' submission, which was accepted. Alexander was encouraged when he found a sacred spring close to the River Xanthus, and obtained from there an inscribed bronze tablet that predicted that the Greeks would destroy the Persian Empire.[10]
Reports on the city's surrender to Alexander the Great differ: Arrian reports a peaceful surrender, but Appian claims that the city was sacked.[7] After Alexander's death, Xanthos was captured by Ptolemy I Soter from Antigonos.[11]
Roman period
Xanthus was in the Roman province of Lycia.[12] In 42 BC Brutus came to Lycia in the Roman Civil Wars, to obtain funds for his campaign in that year before the Battle of Philippi. The Lycian League refused to contribute; Brutus besieged Xanthos and the city was once again destroyed and only 150 Xanthian men survived the carnage. But Plutarch describes the carnage as self-inflicted, with Brutus and his Romans trying but unable to save the city from flames. In his words, 150 “did not escape having their lives saved.” Plutarch explains such suicidal behavior by the city’s similar response to Persian conquest generations earlier. [13] It was rebuilt under Mark Antony.[14]
Most of the buildings visible today were built during the Later Empire. The town took on a grid plan. A large piazza with porticoes was built in the west, probably where the classical agora was. There was also a triple-naved building which may have started as a pagan basilica and then become a church. There was probably a large porticoed avenue terminated with. a gateway.[15]
Byzantine period
Xanthos, like the rest of Lycia, prospered in the later Roman period. Luxury houses were built on the Lycian acropolis. Several churches were also built, including a large basilica (74m x 29m), a small chapel, and another large basilica on the acropolis. In the sixth century, earthquakes damaged many buildings, and they were repaired. The city wall was also reinforced because of the Arab threat. The city was subsequently destroyed and deserted.[15]
Ecclesiastical history
Xanthus was a suffragan of the Metropolitan Archbishopric of Myra.[14]
In the Eastern Orthodox Church, Xanthoupolis was a titular diocese under the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, whose bishop assisted the Metropolitan Province of Smyrna, part of the larger Province of Asia Minor. Its last known bishop was Father Ignatios, later Metropolitan of Libya under the Patriarchate of Alexandria, who presided over this diocese from 1863 to 1884.[citation needed]
In the Catholic Church, the diocese was nominally restored in 1933 as the Titular bishopric of Xanthus.[16]
Archaeology

The Harpy Tomb sculptures in the British Museum
Excavations at Xanthos have shown that wooden structures were destroyed in c. 470 BC,probably by the Athenian Kimon. Xanthos was later rebuilt in stone.[17]
The Nereid Monument, the Tomb of Payava, and the original sculptures of the Harpy Tomb are exhibited in the British Museum.[18][19][20] The Harpy Tomb itself is located in its original location at Xanthos, now with replica reliefs.[21]
The archeological excavations and surface investigations at Xanthos have yielded inscriptions in both the Lycian language and Greek, including bilingual texts that are useful in the understanding of Lycian.[22] The Xanthian Obelisk, otherwise known as the Inscribed Pillar, is a trilingual stele which was found in the city; it records an older Anatolian language conventionally known as the Milyan. The Ishak Pasha Palace has an extravagant feel to it and was definitely conceived more as a pleasure dome than as a defensive castle. Yet the Russians also occupied it on other occasions and they are blamed by the Turks for the blackened cooking residues that coat the walls of rooms deigned for more elegant puposes. They also run off with the gold-plated doors of the entrance during the 1917 invasion, and these are now in a museum in Moscow.

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One # to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other # to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days # staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow # a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left # I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left # how many times did I depend too much on her # doubt her # envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However # I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me # a guy filled with ambiguous # unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One # to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other # to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days # staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow # a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left # I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left # how many times did I depend too much on her # doubt her # envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However # I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me # a guy filled with ambiguous # unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

The Old South Church, Boston, Mass.
This is the first of a few churches and cathedrals we visited in the USA & Canada last year. I was very surprised at what I found.
The church was built between, 1872–1875 in the Northern Italian Gothic style heavily influenced by John Ruskin. The roots of the church go back to a congregation of 1669. The architects were Charles A. Cummings and William T Sears. Their faces are carved on the portico on Boylston St.
The campanile was built using pink, grey and brown stonework; (although this was later replaced in the late 20’s, early 30’s, due to subsidence, Allen and Collens designed it and was dedicated to Rev. Dr. Gordon. The walls of the church were of Roxbury puddingstone. The cupola is of a green and red-colour copper. The roof is striped with red and black tiles and there any many outside decorations. A very impressive building from the outside, however, if you thought that was something, the interior was spectacular.
In 1905, Louis Tiffany was commissioned to bring into the modern world, the sanctuary. He had the gas chandeliers removed and covered stain glass windows and put in their place his own deep purple glass and painted over already decorated walls with gold and purple seaweed designs. However someone could not have liked these designs because in the 1950’s they were painted over in a pale grey. Today we see the result of an extensive renovation carried out in 1984. This work was done by the prestigious Shepley, Bulfinch, Richardson and Abbott. The sanctuary was returned to the Ruskin theme using new stencils, chandeliers, rebuilt windows, woodwork and custom furnitures.
The windows were as always my favourites. The sanctuary were four windows depicting the four prophets, the smaller windows are the four evangelists. In the north transept show Christ’s five miracles, opposite (south transept) show the five parables. The large window above the chancel depicts announcement of the Birth of Christ, with shepherds, angels and many other symbols. These windows all come out of the workshop of Clayton and Bell.
Within the church is the Gordon Chapel, built in 1933 and dedicated to Rev. Dr. George Gordon, senior minister between 1884-1929. The windows here were designed and made by Wilbur H Burnham, a top Boston glass designer.
All in all a brilliant day, the one down side, it was such a bright day plus all the interior lighting I don’t think I did the best job with the camera, too many bleached out images. However it was still a great day. This is the last of three postings.

De facto allies. Today, here in Kyiv, in the heart of our country, we are taking a decisive step for the security of the entire community of free nations.
We see who threatens us. Who is ready to kill and maim. Who in order to expand his zone of control does not stop at any savagery.
On February 24, the first full-scale attack on Ukraine was carried out. The first!
Russia would not have stopped at our borders if we had not stopped it. Other states would have been under attack. The Baltic countries, Poland, Moldova and Georgia, Kazakhstan...
Russia claimed to subjugate various nations of Europe and Asia. Claimed six months ago. This criminal ambition is breaking down in Ukraine. It was broken down in the suburbs of Kyiv and Chernihiv. In "Azovstal". In the Sumy region and Kharkiv region. On Zmiinyi Island. It will be broken down in Donbas and in the south of Ukraine when we liberate them. Definitely - in Crimea, in the free Ukrainian Crimea.
The entire territory of our country will be liberated from this enemy - the enemy not only of Ukraine, but also of life itself, humanity, law and truth.
Russia already knows this. It feels our power. It sees that it is here, in Ukraine, that we prove the strength of our values. And that is why it is in a hurry. Organizes this farce with the attempted annexation. Tries to steal something that does not belong to it. Wants to rewrite history and redraw borders with murders, torture, blackmail and lies.
Ukraine will not allow that.
Today I held a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The meeting of the National Security and Defense Council has just ended. We have a decision.
First – it is only the path of strengthening Ukraine and ousting the occupiers from our entire territory that restores peace. We will complete this path.
Second – Ukraine was and remains a leader in negotiation efforts. It was our state that always offered Russia to reach an agreement on coexistence on equal, honest, decent and fair terms. It is obvious that this is impossible with this Russian president. He does not know what dignity and honesty are. Therefore, we are ready for a dialogue with Russia, but already with another president of Russia.
And third – we must de jure record everything we have already achieved de facto. It is in Ukraine that the fate of democracy in the confrontation with tyranny is being decided. It is here, with the firmness of our state borders, that we can secure the firmness of the borders of all European states. We can guarantee that no one else will dare to bring war back to our continent.
It is here, in Ukraine, that the values of our Euro-Atlantic community have obtained real vital energy. The strength of the nation that fights for freedom, and the strength of the nations that help in this fight.
We are de facto allies. This has already been achieved. De facto, we have already completed our path to NATO. De facto, we have already proven interoperability with the Alliance’s standards, they are real for Ukraine - real on the battlefield and in all aspects of our interaction.
We trust each other, we help each other and we protect each other. This is what the Alliance is. De facto.
Today, Ukraine is applying to make it de jure. Under a procedure consistent with our significance for the protection of our entire community. Under an accelerated procedure.
We know it's possible. We have seen Finland and Sweden start accession to the Alliance this year without a Membership Action Plan.
This is fair. This is also fair for Ukraine. This is the consolidation at the level of the treaty of what has already been achieved in life and what are our values.
We understand that this requires the consensus of all members of the Alliance. We understand that it is necessary to reach such a consensus. And therefore, while this is happening, we offer to implement our proposals regarding security guarantees for Ukraine and all of Europe in accordance with the Kyiv Security Compact, which was developed and presented to our partners.
Security has no alternatives. But determination is needed to guarantee it.
We are taking our decisive step by signing Ukraine's application for accelerated accession to NATO.
Today, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine adopted a decision to impose sanctions on significant individuals and legal entities of Russia who did not have the courage to speak out in defense of humanity and international law, or who in one way or another are involved in aggressive steps against Ukraine and the community of democratic nations.
And at the same time, I am addressing the people's deputies of Ukraine: at the next session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a draft law on the nationalization of all Russian assets will be considered, which should significantly simplify this procedure. Please endorse this bill without delay.
We are completing the dismantling of Russian influence on Ukraine, Europe and the world.

ELECTRONIC SOUL.
Phones are now a day more sophisticated and developed that help every person to reach anyone anywhere at any moment, but the question remains: why the medium who gathers us disperses us? Are smartphones killing the planet faster than anyone expected? Is that logical?!
The world is progressing very fast in all fields, involving technology. The phone was developing so rapidly over the last few years. It became more closely embedded in our day-to-day lives than ever before, and I could describe the propagation of smartphones as plague, Speedy, and quiet. So I wanted to intervene in that by giving a voice to a subject that has had no voice.
When we’re looking at these images, we’re looking at how Chinese citizens are addicted to their phones, therefore I want from my project to enlighten this current issue, also the dangers that could generate from this issue like depression, loneliness, ...
If you told me back in 2000 what these devices would be capable of in around 20 years, I’d call you crazy, and I wouldn’t be alone. Back then, no one could have predicted the impact phones would have on our lives. It would have sounded like science fiction. This got me thinking: What will smartphones of the future change in our habitude as humans?

I have often wondered how folks take such moody portraits, so I had a play, this is my real fist attempt at using light to create a mood. I'm sure now that I have tried it I will be trying lots more things, I am still learning so I will improve.
Sometimes we all have battles with our conscience, I have them pretty much everyday, I am without a doubt my own worst enemy. So it feels like I have my own devils, maybe I do ............

Although he has been gone for 31 years today, Ansel Adams work still influences many of today's photographers, including myself. Unlike Ansel who did his magic in the darkroom with paper and chemicals, most photographers now sit at their computers creating their magic with programs like Lightroom. I created this work in Lightroom a while back and was saving it for a special day and thought this was an appropriate time to unveil it. Heading out on my next mountain adventure today to the wilds of west Texas and the Guadalupe Mountains. Looking forward to a little mountain air and some time to make new memories.

Sean: My god! How did you do that?
Nicole: Sean? What's wrong?
911: Ma'am?
Sean: How did you pick me up like that?
Nicole: Sean? What's going on?
Sean: Honey, you won't believe it. Kiley just picked me up like I was a doll or something.
Nicole: That's impossible!
911: Ma'am?
Nicole: My husband was a football player. He's a big guy. Over 6 feet and about 200 pounds. He said our fifteen-year-old daughter just picked him up like a doll!
911: Ma'am, I will keep the units rolling. There are some drugs that cause people to exhibit great feats of strength. Can your husband exit the room?
Nicole: Sean? Can you open the door?
Sean: They've got a lot of stuff in front of it. Girls, why did you do this?
(There's a scraping sound from inside the room, and grunting, as Sean starts to move things, and the girls are giggling, sounding like glass windchimes.)
911: Ma'am, what is happening, now?
Nicole: My husband is moving furniture away from the door. I guess they barricaded themselves in there while they did that Mia makeover.
911: Ma'am, please repeat what you just said.
Nicole: Sean's moving furniture --
911: No, ma'am. The very last thing you said. Did you say a name?
Nicole: Oh, yes. Mia, this influencer. She has a makeover that everybody is doing, and the girls--
911: Ma'am, are you able to leave the house?
Nicole: I'm sorry?
Sean: That's okay, girls. I can do this on my -- Ow! Hey, Skyler! Take it easy!
911: Ma'am we're receiving reports that people who have taken the drug being sold by this Mia Murony are behaving aggressively.
Nicole: Sean? Are you okay?
Sean: Yeah, it's just that ... Skyler nearly broke my arm pulling me away from the door.
(The girls' tinkling laughter follows his remark.)
911: Ma'am, I want you to leave your house and run, do not walk, RUN to the intersection of Maple and Fremont. Officers will assist you there.
Nicole: My husband is with the girls. Sean, can you open the door?
Sean: Come on, girls. Let's get all of this stuff out of the way. Don't you want to show your mom how the makeover worked?
Kiley: It DID work, didn't it, Dad? I'm beautiful now, aren't I?
Sean: You've always been beautiful, honey.
(There's a sharp sound of flesh hitting flesh and Sean cries out in pain.)
Kiley: (sounding animalistic) LIAR!
Coral House MOC is a contemporary home with influences from both modernism and industrial style. It is located in tropical surroundings and has a colour scheme inspired by the snake that gave house its name.
The main house body is mainly built with reddish brown grille bricks, trans-clear panels and plated walls in tan, reddish brown, dark red and black. One of the plated walls "fold over" the house to form a roof. One vertical and two horizontal and white cuboids are built with SNOT technique and attached to the main house body to achieve contrast.
The ground floor hosts an open plan living room and kitchen, a calm corner with sea view, a bedroom and a spacious bathroom. Upstairs you find a room with sofa and chess corner, a small bathroom and a roof terrace.
