The distinctive curve of the footbridge arches create a unique reflection in the River Tees forming the mathematical symbol for infinity and lending itself to the name.

I've called this INFINITY because thats how I live my life....time without end =D Foolish? Maybe. I am a great believer of the phrase "seize the day".....I know many of you have been telling me to take it easy and slow down....I have ... truly I have....wasting lots of time with my plurk buddies from all over the world and in between fitting in a little creativity.
This is a piece which I took my time with. A 20 mm gold rutilated quartz faceted brio which I've used as a pendant...a bouquet of faceted hessonite garnet, apatite, citrine, petro-tourmaline and a necklace dotted with spessarite mandarin garnets, sky blue topaz, zircon and citrine quartz and rondell stones. Goldfilled chail, wirework and vermeil ball head pins. Necklae measures 16" whilst the centre drop measures approx 1-1/2"
Stairs fly as straight as hawks;
Or else in spirals, curve out of curve, pausing
At a ledge to poise their wings before relaunching.
Stairs sway at the height of their flight
Like a melody in Tristan;
Or swoop to the ground with glad spread of their feathers
Before they close them.
They curiously investigate
The shells of buildings,
A hollow core,
Shell in a shell.
Useless to produce their path to infinity
Or turn it to a moral symbol,
For their flight is ambiguous, upwards or downwards as you please;
Their fountain is frozen,
Their concertina is silent.
"Flight Of Stairs", A.S.J. Tessimond

Some of the infinity scarves I made for Christmas gifts.
(For photo purposes only they are being modeled by my son but for safety reasons I DO NOT advocate children wearing scarves.)

This is my tribute to the Marvel Comic Universe's Infinity Gauntlet
This is my tribute to the Marvel Universe's Infinity Gauntlet. It is wearable and moves pretty well -- very close to the size of the actual gauntlet as it appears in the comics.
