Evening at The Infinity Bridge across the River Tees at Stockton-on-Tees.
Thomas and I popped down to the Infinity Bridge this evening as in the hope of calm waters, nice reflections and a bit of colour in the sky. Mixed results on all of the above but an enjoyable couple of hours and he got to try out his new kit.

The architecture often gives the impression of being rather small. But don't be fooled. The Messner Museum, here the main entrance.

When tea becomes ritual, it takes its place at the heart of our ability to see greatness in small things. Where is beauty to be found? In great things that, like everything else, are doomed to die, or in small things that aspire to nothing, yet know how to set a jewel of infinity in a single moment?

Several months ago I made a series of photos with a Nautilus shell. I thought I would like to see what I could do with my new camera, so here is another photo of this awesome creature.
Please help me name this photo! I am not happy with the name, and think it deserves something more appropriate.
Later:
The name chosen was "Infinity". Thanks Frazzled Jen! And thanks to everyone who made suggestions.
There's no one else I would rather have by my side through all life's struggles - you have stuck through it all and I'll stick by yours. From day one, I knew we'd grow to have a bond that would never be broken. You bring me "such great joy" which is why with you, it's never a dull moment. My Da-Ling, I love you.
You are my infinity.
Happy anniversary, baby.

“As I watched the sky morph shades of amber and amethyst, of fiery orange and smoldering pink, I always wondered if colors and images like these once inspired the greats before us to construct their beauty and masterpieces.”

My favourite bridge, in our area, on the Tees Barrage, in Stockton. The structure consists of a double curve which, when seen reflected, forms the infinity symbol. It runs from the Campus of the Teesside University and allows pedestrians and cyclists to cross the river.
