I should've put new batteries in that flashlight. It started fading while we were out there.
Infinity was really tough to get right. This is the best of this shape from the roll, I think.
I don't know, every time I look at this I see a bow-like shape rather than infinity. So the ? may be my choice so far. But my final choices sometimes change...

As an exception this photograph has been kept as a colour shot as the colour emphasizes the light at the end of the tunnel. Anyway there is not much colour in the frame.
Hi everyone, yes it's been a while...
I enjoyed a recent winter break in Tenerife. This is a shot of the Infinity Pool at the Sensatori Resort at Guia De Asoria.
This photo was taken early morning on Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia.
It was quite an experience being there and watching the sunrise.
The low angle of light was illuminating the edges of amazing salt formation created on the surface. It was still dark and I could see stars on the other side of the horizon. The vast area of salt flats makes the impression of infinity and the horizon is mostly not visible. The distant mountains you can see here are 6000 meters volcanos located some 60km away from where I was standing.

On a cloudless Saturday afternoon I captured the bulk carrier, 'Van Infinity' arriving into the mouth of the Brisbane River bound for Pinkenba No 1. This 190m long vessel just finished her 3 day journey from Newcastle and after 2 days of cargo handling she will depart bound for Geelong.

The Infinity Doctor is a Dr Who book. Discovered that when I Googled Infinity and Doctor to title this photo. I reckoned there had to be a photo in this but maybe it’s more the story in my mind than the actual photo (and maybe that’s what photography is about): the corridor that links old with new - the old Victorian wing of the hospital to the new buildings, aging and rebirth, the near infinity perspective, the blues and yellows of the colour wheel combining, or the doctor far in the distance who’s busy working oblivious to the phone shot being taken. No matter what story I can create from this one photo, I don’t want to be back near that corridor for a very long time - you don’t visit hospitals for architecture or photo opportunities let’s face it. I still can’t get the perspective exactly right and it’s driving me nuts lol.
Early morning I went out to Colorado's eastern plains with a few friends to shoot the stars. It was perfect timing close to the new moon and clear skies before the incoming rain and snow. The image here is a stitched panorama from five vertical photographs. Near Kiowa, Colorado
I shot this today morning. The infinite expanse of the sky, with the clouds and all its celestial bodies, never ceases to amaze me !!!

Track To Infinity
taking me to the unknown destination in the journey through the desert called life .......

Infinity Bridge ( so called as when the twin arches are reflected from the still waters of the river they form the mathematical symbol for Infinity) across the river Tees at Stockton on Tees. Taken from the deck of the Teeside Princess river boat.

Taken at sunset with the cheap film. I got half way through the roll and realised I still had the ASA setting still on 400 from the XP2 shooting!! Anyway I liked the result here. Maybe a bit of lost detail in the sky?
This was an image I took being a member of the Ricoh's Adventure group( www.flickr.com/groups/2152346@N24/ ) on the little Ricoh's trip around the world. Gabo Barreto owns this camera and it was great to be included on this project. I used 3 films,Ilford XP2 Super 400 B&W ,FujiFilm Superia 200 and some cheap Agfa Vista 200 film that I have stacks of and use to practice with. Guess which film surprised me the most inside the Ricoh?
