This fascinating sculpture can be found at the Eden Project as a permanent art installation. Created by Studio Swine this 8 metre tall ceramic sculpture represents a cyanobacterium. It blows rings of smoke which is great fun for the kids and is just weird and wonderful to behold. I tried to find a good viewpoint to show off some of the cool architecture of 'The Core' as well.

Baby, this love,

I'll never let it die,

Can't be touched by no one,

I'd like to see 'em try.

A warm spring keeps the water at Mud Lake from freezing. Cold fog frosts the shore and wipes out the view across the lake. On a clear day this would be a scene of a large lake with a mountain range behind it.

Linda says this looks like a pig's profile!

At first we thought we'd made a bad choice going to this location because of the thick mist but we hoped it might work in our favour and it did. This bridge isn't named the infinity bridge for the reason it might seem in this photo, but I thought the infinity effect was interesting here too. The name actually comes from the fact that when you see the reflection of the bridge from a distance away it looks like the symbol for infinity - ∞

I was going to go out again tomorrow but I've got so many shots backed up waiting now that I might give it a miss, especially as it looks like it's going to be one of those very rare days of rain in Scotland.... still the crops will be needing it ;o)

Here we have one of my favourite sights, you can walk along the footpath past the universty on the left cross over the bridge and continue along the River Tees to the Tees Barrage another good spot for snapping..

Bridge over River Tees is a pedestrian and cycle bridge linking the North Shore devlopment with the University of Durham’s Queen’s Campus and the Teesdale Park. There are two asymetrical arches and the arched section is 180 metres long, (main arch 120m) and is 273 metres overall, and uses 450 tonnes of locally produced steel. It creates a reflection in the river forming the mathematical infinity symbol, hence its name.

This hall, leading to Union Station in Toronto, seems to stretch on into infinity. It really makes for a good photo with great patterns, with lots of shadow and light too!

The Infinity Bridge is a public pedestrian and cycle footbridge across the River Tees in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees in the north east of England. The bridge is situated one kilometre downriver of Stockton town centre, between the Princess of Wales Bridge and the Tees Barrage and it links the Teesdale Business Park and the University of Durham's Queen's Campus in Thornaby-on-Tees
