The moon setting behind the Infinity Bridge.

Three years ago today my companion of 22 years was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, a grade IV brain cancer. Following the surgery to remove the tumor, we were told that he only had, at best, 6 months to live. Still, every day for 7 weeks, we went to the hospital for radiation. He was on chemo drugs for 16 months until several tumors started to form in June of 2006. He definitely defied the odds!

He was the most intelligent and gifted person I have ever met. It was so sad to watch as the tumors ate away every sense of his being. He left me on November 6, 2006.

This ring is a melding of our wedding bands and the anniversary ring he gave me. It is a symbol of the love I will always hold in my heart for this dear man.

Spider represents the symbol of infinity. Most Spiders have eight eyes and all have eight legs. The number eight is also a symbol of infinity (an eight turned on its side). It is the wheel of life flowing from one circle to the next; the lesson is maintaining a balance between the past and future, physical and spiritual, male and female.

Its the reflection on the water that gives this beautiful bridge its name, completing the mathematical symbol for infinity ∞

'A time without end, when all exists for all eternity.

Fascinating paradox, this thing called infinity.'

A long exposure on a misty morning at Peveril Point in Swanage. I love the fact that you cant see where the sea ends and the sky begins. They are one; with only the jagged rock edge poking through.

With the help of filters it can benefit your photography in many ways, for me I love to use them to be creative - really making an image your own. This has been done before and will be done again however this one here, its all mine.

Have a great day guys and make it your own!

This fascinating sculpture can be found at the Eden Project as a permanent art installation. Created by Studio Swine this 8 metre tall ceramic sculpture represents a cyanobacterium. It blows rings of smoke which is great fun for the kids and is just weird and wonderful to behold. I tried to find a good viewpoint to show off some of the cool architecture of 'The Core' as well.

Hope everybody is doing great!! I have been very busy, been thinking about the place above and relaxing when I have time! :-))

Iceland is famous for its hot pools. They can be found everywhere, even in remote places. Some are free, some are located in beautiful spots.

This one, Krossneslaug, is one of my favorites.

Had a little road trip up the north east coast. First nights bed was just a 10 minute walk from the bridge so just had to get out and take an image while I was there.

Infinity Tower is a new residential high rise in Lisbon. Located in the district of Sete Rios, Infinity Tower is 80 metres tall.

A warm spring keeps the water at Mud Lake from freezing. Cold fog frosts the shore and wipes out the view across the lake. On a clear day this would be a scene of a large lake with a mountain range behind it.

Linda says this looks like a pig's profile!

First person to find the infinity sign hidden in the photo wins!!

(Don't ask me what you win)

I'll have one more photo, I think, from this photoshoot. I really don't like to do that, but this place was so neat! It is an abandoned water tower.

Sometimes I see photos of hotels with an infinity pool. This one is a water reservoir by the sea near Moeraki. Usually it is windy here but this morning was still after the sunrise.

collage of 6 photos of the artwork seemed in exhibition. The artwork is called Infinity Mirrored Room – Love Forever [No.3] and the artist is Yayoi Kusama.

Had another trip to Stockton-On-Tees last night to have another crack at some Infinity bridge night photos.

At Sumilon, there is the chance to enjoy a real thriving marine paradise. It is a world-famous no-take fish reserve after all. From diving for mantas, black-tip sharks and eels, to snorkeling above spectacular coral gardens, or perhaps just idling on the sandy coves and shifting sandbar, the water attractions are difficult to rival.

The bench outside of Target. I took tons of photos today, but I kept coming back to this one.

This was the beach of the little resort I was staying in. Cannot really remember the exact name of the location though. Very much isolated as you can see, but this was really fantastic! I was also impressed by the thousands of palm trees all along the beach.

I am still a bit slow catching up on your streams after my little holiday break! ;-)
