At the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, one will inevitably notice the long lines of lanterns hanging all around the temple. Often these lanterns are hung by devotees and visitors for many things such as wishing for luck, love or good health, for instance. A sea of red lights up the night with these lanterns.

Driving home on several occasions recently, I noticed a derelict plot in an industrial area a few hundred metres down my road from my home, that looked a likely spot for butterflies. It had a number of self seeded Buddleia bushes and well developed wild flower growth Sure enough, Common Blues, Small Coppers, Small Skipper, and others were present. This was one of the shots I took that morning, before the inevitable clouds rolled in. As Flick Purchase picked up on below, I liked the wispy appearance of the seed head, which seemed to complement the butterfly.

It is inevitable, points of conflict, lines of organization and insurrection, invisibility. Time passes... over.
A look, a step, a gesture, the lines of the city or any detail, completed by the look, creating a poetics in the movements that only exist in the encounter between bodies, photographer, place, people photographed and who sees the photo, and this can generate a power of presence, a static dance.
Although I have done nothing specific to attract the Steller's Jays, just putting a few seeds out for the little birdies was bound to attract them, especially the juvies (like this one) who are really hungry and want an easy meal. I really can't say no.
Life, like water through a stream, flows; sometimes along predictable paths, sometimes unfocused and turbulent.
Not unlike leaves flowing through a stream, we can be traveling with others, separate peacefully and continue down smooth independent paths before crashing into one another in violence and disarray, which some will survive, and others will be destroyed, but a new path will emerge, nonetheless.

Se trata del tren de alta velocidad, procedente de Madrid-Puerta de Atocha y que ahora acaba de salir de la Estación Valencia-Joaquín Sorolla hacia Castellón.
Orientada esta toma hacia el sur valía la pena aprovechar lo nublado de la mañana para evitar los contraluces que de otro modo e inexorablemente se habrían producido.

High Speed Train (AVE) passing through VALENCIA
This is the high-speed train, coming from Madrid-Puerta de Atocha and that has just left the Valencia-Joaquín Sorolla station towards Castellón.
Oriented towards the south, it was worth taking advantage of the overcast in the morning to avoid the backlighting that would otherwise inevitably have occurred.
Having spent some time this morning doing the inevitable cleaning it's time to sit down for another coffee. a small easter egg and continue my reading for a while. Here's hoping the sun comes out for the afternoon walk and more gardening.

Will there be a day, when all leaders of the world will become teachers, who will teach peace to their people?
Will there be a day, when all children of the world will learn peace, and their choices will not be driven by fear or hatred, but reason and love instead?
Will there be a day, when those children will grow up and be the new leaders for us who will create a world, where the idea of war will be as far as the idea of slavery in today's world?
Will there be a day, when in a war-free world, all humans can collectively commemorate the defeat of Mars - God of War, with a statue of remembrance, the marking of the greatest achievement of human mankind?

Fanaticism, patriotism, profitism, all the many delusional psychopathic thought chains and lies leading towards fear, death, destruction and cross-generational suffering. Leaders of nations should know better, speak better and do better - they should all lead and transcend their people further and away from those thoughts for a better world for our children.
In the absence of leaders who serve humanity from the positions they occupy, we all need to be the teachers and leaders to our people and our children instead. We all should talk to them about their choices, about love, about the ways of leaving Mars behind, so one day we can build that final statue of Mars, and send it away from Earth to where it belongs, to planet Mars instead.
