प्रसिद्ध संत भय्यूजी महाराज (50) ने इंदौर स्थित अपने घर में आज कथित रूप से गोली मार कर आत्महत्या कर ली। इंदौर के पुलिस उपमहानिरीक्षक (डीआईजी) एच सी मिश्रा ने बताया, संत भय्यूजी महाराज ने इंदौर बाइपास स्थित अपने घर में खुद को गोली मार कर आत्महत्या कर ली। इंदौर के बॉम्बे अस्पताल के महाप्रबंधक राहुल पाराशर ने बताया कि गोली लगने के बाद उन्हें तुरंत हमारे अस्पताल लाया गया, जहां उन्होंने दम तोड़ दिया।इंदौर के जिलाधिकारी निशांत वरवड़े ने बताया कि अभी यह स्पष्ट नहीं हो सका है कि भय्यूजी महाराज ने किन हालात में और किस वजह से कथित तौर पर आत्महत्या की। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस जांच में इस बात का खुलासा हो सकेगा। वरवड़े ने कहा कि महाराज के शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए शासकीय महाराज यशवंत राव चिकित्सालय में भेजा गया है।भय्यूजी के शिष्य ने बताया कि संत बनने से पहले वह मॉडलिंग भी किया करते थे। उनके कई अनुयायी हैं, जिनमें नेता एवं फिल्म स्टार शामिल हैं। अध्यात्म गुरू का आश्रम इंदौर शहर में स्थित है और उनके अनुयायियों में महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस सहित कई शीर्ष नेता, सुर साम्राज्ञी लता मंगेशकर सहित कई मशहूर हस्तियां शामिल थीं।गौरतलब है कि कुछ महीने पूर्व मध्यप्रदेश सरकार ने पांच धार्मिक नेताओं को राज्यमंत्री का दर्जा दिया था जिसमें भय्यूजी महाराज भी शामिल थे। सरकार के इस कदम के बाद विवाद खड़ा हो गया था। विवाद के बाद भय्यूजी ने घोषणा की थी कि वह राज्यमंत्री दर्जे का कोई लाभ नहीं लेंगे।कौन थे भय्यूजी महाराज और कब आए थे सुर्खियों में, जानें 7 बड़ी बातें भय्यूजी महाराज का वास्तविक नाम उदयसिंह देखमुख है। उनका जन्म शुजालपुर के एक किसान परिवार में हुआ था। उनका मुख्य आश्रम इंदौर स्थित बापट चौराहे पर है। सदगुरु दत्त धार्मिक ट्रस्ट उनके सानिध्य में संचालित होता है। कई राजनीतिक और फिल्मी हस्तियां उनके आश्रम में जा चुकी हैं।2012 सद्भावना उपवास के दौरान पीएम मोदी ने उन्हें गुजरात बुलाया था। वे चर्चा में तब आए जब अन्ना हजारे के अनशन को खत्म करवाने के लिए तत्कालीन केंद्र सरकार ने उन्हें अपना दूत बनाकर भेजा था। बाद में अन्ना ने उनके हाथ से जूस पीकर अनशन तोड़ा था।
