Many years ago the character of Indiana Jones inspired many children to love archeology (my sons and me). Thanks to George Lucas &Steven Spilberg. making off in my personal instagram @antonio_hidalgo_balerma
Finally built something for fun, rather than being a deadline-pressure build for a show or for a DK book.
Having said that, as soon as I finished this I started thinking about turning it into a big show build. Oh well...

I spent 7 nights and 8 days in London in August with my family, Tiziano and Giulia and their families.
I’m trying to show 100 shots that I’ve made there, that represent my “London point of view”.

Thanks to my buddy Ken for scoring this set for me. Excited to track down all these retired, Indiana Jones sets, just not so keen on the going rate for them.
Though it may not look like it, this was quite an elaborate setup. I had an entire canal behind the boat, courtesy of some Star Wars sets and random otherness.
I wish I could have done better with the lighting. I shot from a different perspective than normal, and didn't adjust my lighting enough.
Oh well... next time
Had this sitting for a while, but with the anouncement of a 2023 Last Crusade fighter plane chase set, I thought I would show this! Obviously is quite different from how Lego will approach this...
Really hope Indy 5 is good so that Lego might try making more sets from the original movies in 2024.

2000 years ago, this place was one of the important trade city in the middle east, built by Nabatean people. Today, you can still admire the grandeur of the ancient Nabatean heritage in Petra, Jordan.
I’ve a lack of inspiration... I need to take a breath and try to get new ideas...
... I’m not able to write new poems since months...
therefore I’m going to repost all my 2010’s Project 52, day by day, hoping this will help me...

Based on the popular and successful Indiana Jones film franchise, this show includes various stunts and live reenacted scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark. I have seen this show so many times and never get tired of it! I keep hoping that I will be picked to be in the show someday!

The daring Kentucky Jones (also known in some circles as Jungle Jones) ventures deep into a mysterious underground passage.
This totally isn't an Indiana Jones ripoff at all. :P
Based in the first film of Indiana Jones, this is a tribute of the famous scene of the golden idol.

I hate having to post images which don't come out the way I want :(
This was supposed to be Indiana Jones running away from a giant wave.
Had great fun trying to do this shot and made a nice royal mess in the kitchen :D
This model uses snot construction on the sides to achieve the correct profile of this upgraded WWI tank. The tracks are supported by many Technic spur gears and are functional. Indy's whip was softened in hot water and then stretched to to the extended position. Custom decals capture the prototype's markings for the Republic of Hatay
Plate hinges are used to achieve the sweeping angles of the wings. The top is sand green with white underneath. The prototype was painted a camoflage pattern of light green and dark green. The cockpit is completely detailed and includes the pilot, producer Frank Marshall, hunched over on the throttle. The complex curve of the cockpit was solved by cutting to shape a piece of clear plastic from the Lego Tick-Tac-Toe packaging… so the whole model is authentic Lego.

Running with Indiana Jones in the London Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in 2003. This was a great start to our vacation.
This was photographed with a Canon Rebel film camera and the print was commercially scanned years later. The camera shutter started working intermittently on this trip and thus began our adventure with digital cameras.
