Celebration Time

One thing I've noticed as Vegas has been aging is that she is getting even more stubborn, and even obstinate sometimes. She definitely does what she wants when she wants and it's ironic, as crazy loyal as she is, so much so that sometimes she can't bear to be one foot away from me without throwing a temper tantrum, we'll be out and about or I'll want to take a picture and I can't get her to look at me for all the cheese in the world. This was one of those moments. Got a lovely shot of her festive collar though.

It tipped over and started shooting every which way, including a shot that barely missed my neighbor's open garage. Happy fourth!

The City of North Charleston held its Fourth of July Festival at Riverfront Park on Friday, July 4, 2014, an all-day event featuring live music, family-friendly activities, and local food vendors.

North Charleston’s Fourth of July Festival featured the largest show of fireworks in the Lowcountry and one of the largest in the State of South Carolina.
