5 years ago, I received a random comment on one of the photos I posted to Flickr, me with a gigantic pile of books. I didn't think much of it at first, commented back and continued on.
The next day another comment, followed by another, and another.
I started following a photographer way above my skill level and entered one of his photo giveaway contests to win a print.
A month or so later, the message arrived in my inbox. I'd won, (it was rigged) and that began a constant flow of messages back and forth. They kept getting longer and more detailed.
Eventually we moved to Skype and by the following January, I was boarding a plane to meet this amazing guy who kept me on my toes and captured my heart.
It's been an amazing five years together, through distance and difficulties I've never questioned that this was worth it. He was who I should spend my life with and no border could change that.
Scott challenges me to stay sharp; we can be goofballs or have intellectual conversations. We can laugh a day away or sit quietly and just coexist in comfortable silence. Adventures through the woods or chasing sunsets, it's always better with him by my side.
I'm so lucky that he found me in a sea of people and reached out to grab my hand. I don't know where I'd be without him today, but I know I wouldn't be the same person.
On the first day of Summer, we announced that this was a life long adventure in front of a small group of family.
And I couldn't be happier and more excited to turn the page and start this new chapter and new adventure with a partner by my side.
I love you Scott, thank you for choosing me.

Tonight finally some Aurora activity :) Even though it was not much we got some show at two locations this evening... This is the first one of few i am gonna share with you from the evening and hopefully there will be more soon.
Many Thanks to all of you that send me advise/tips to my inbox, they really were usefull (i hope) this evening ... The only thing that maybe was not good was the hard blowing wind which got in the way abit ....
I am just posting and running since it has been a long night, looking forward to visits your streams tomorrow and i will also answer the mails waiting in my inbox then..

I didn't plan this photo. I had the brick wall from another photo, where I just experimenting with lighting. I had the wall on a table, planning to disassemble when I noticed window light cast a checkerboard like pattern, via shadows on the table. So built a back wall and assembled some minifigs for chess pieces.
There are things I wish came out better, but I was happy with the serendipity that led to the photo.

That's right kids, this used to be the only way you got ANY mail!
I might be dating myself with this shot but for me this is and was the only way you got any sort of mail. Think about it, how else can you possibly put a cherry bomb in someone's mail box?
This was shot up in Madrid, New Mexico. Madrid is an artist colony of sorts, at least it was when we were there. They're famous for the ending of the film Wild Hogs (2007) being set and filmed in the town and in the 1976 film The Man Who Fell To Earth, starring David Bowie the miners' houses on New Mexico Highway 14 can be seen.
Madrid used to be a company owned mining town and the Belinda Vasquez Garcia's novel, The Witch Narratives: Reincarnation (2012), is set in Madrid during the 1920s and 1930s.

Um sonho: A Dal Cinnamoroll Original.
Eu estava evitando olhar grupos de desapego, mas as vezes eu acabo olhando sem querer por puro tédio e, em uma dessas madrugadas chatas, acabei achando essa lindinha para adoção e... meu corpo começou a ficar quente, comecei a sentir um monte de coisa ao mesmo tempo, uma coisa entre: "eu preciso" e "não... eu não vou conseguir"
Senti que precisava dar um jeito de consegui-la e que talvez essa fosse minha ultima chance de achar ela por um preço tão acessível, então eu mandei logo um inbox pra moça e me surpreendi que ela não estava reservada! ;_;
Há dois dias desse acontecimento, uma foto da Dal Cinnamoroll apareceu na cara do meu flickr e eu pensei: não descanso até conseguir a minha.
Estou simplesmente apaixonada e realizada, eu nunca esperei que fosse conseguir realizar esse sonho nem tão cedo, e ela acabou sendo um presente de natal adiantado porque eu não tinha dinheiro suficiete para comprar! ;_;
Depois de muita dor de cabeça pra chegar e os correios me trollarem bem muito, eu finalmente realizei o sonho da minha vida dollística: a Dal Cinnamoroll Original
Foi a primeira dollzinha que me foi apresentada quando eu entrei nesse mundo, minha amiga Brachiossaurus tinha acabado de adotar uma e começamos a conversar sobre essas dolls, até eu descobrir que tinham muitos modelos delas e me interessar de verdade! <33 E eu sempre sempre sempre fui apaixonada pela dollzinha dela, a Liddel ;_; <33
Minha primeira doll, a Mush (uma Magical Pink Chan) foi escolhida baseado na doll que tinha a make mais parecida com a da cinnamoroll, acho que as duas tem uma cara de soninho e de dózinha muito NHOIN! ;_;
A primeira coisa que eu reclamei na cinna foi a sombra verde quando vi pela primeira vez... mas hoje é uma das coisas que mais amo nessa pequena e, todas as dals que tem uma sombra diferente de preto, eu sempre me apaixono! <33
