I love that moment in time between the night and the dawn. In this shot the sunrise is not far away (about an hour) but it is still possible to see the stars in the sky, and even a few remaining parts of the Milky Way.

Dunnet Head Lighthouse, North Scotland which is the farthest point North in mainland Great Britain. The Orkney Islands can be clearly seen in the background. The area inbetween Dunnet lighthouse and the Orkneys is the entrance to the Historic Scape Flow which was the main home to the British Royal Naval fleet during the First and Second world wars.
