This was an experience of a lifetime and am so glad I got to be a part of it. The freezing cold, early morning bus ride and standing for hours was COMPLETELY worth it. I wish you all could have been there with Lauren and I.

More inauguration seating going up as the time nears. Construction has been going on for 2 months but it's finally going all together. Soon this city will be on shutdown!

Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) visited with Luvena Leslie of New Haven to congratulate her on receiving tickets to the inauguration of President-Elect Barack Obama.
After receiving requests for over 10,000 tickets, Senator Dodd held a lottery for Connecticut constituents who requested tickets to the swearing-in ceremony for the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama.
