KONICA MINOLTA DYNAX 5D
After a few years of inaction, I installed a new Li-ion NP-400 battery in my 2005 Konica Minolta DSLR Dynax 5D to replace the dead original one, and I did a small series of pictures with the two KM zoom lenses to re-evaluate the small Sony 6 MP CCD (still not a CMOS) sensor and optics.
The KM Dynax 5D was the latest DSLR body released by Konica Minolta before to be sold to SONY Corp.

The Land Snail Enjoying In The Garden. Why Are They So Sticky, But Doesn't Stick & Can Stretch More Than Double Of Its Original Size? :-p
**Shocking Factor On Snails**
One species of land snail, the three species of Giant African land snail, can grow to be 15 inches (38 cm) from snout to tail, and weigh 1 kilogram (2 lb). The largest living species of sea snail is Syrinx Aruanus which has a shell that can measure up to 90 cm (35 in) in length, and the whole animal with the shell can weigh up to 18 kg (40 lb).
It really ties the room together. Big Lebowski quotes regarding the setup of my Clerks "Inaction Figures."

7 community members and allies, including Jordan Garcia from AFSC, were arrested in act of civil disobedience to protest the inaction of Congress on immigration reform. This event was hosted by our friends at Rights For All People.
1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
In science fiction, the Three Laws of Robotics are a set of three rules written by Isaac Asimov in his 1942 short story "Runaround". Mr. Asimov also created the word 'robotics'.
My camera did something strange with this picture... I suspect the TTL got a little confused with the reflection from the plastic... kind of cool though I think.

Dear Mr. Bajwa,
I am taking the liberty to write to you as a citizen of India, above and beyond any political affiliation that I may have. I seek your attention as you are the esteemed member of Rajya Sabha, who is duty bound and under oath to tackle injustices and to provide relief to all subjects of the state in accordance to the laws of the land. Henceforth I’m seeking few answers sin contingency of new development or rather addition in Pakistan and are future in spirit of that.
Pardon me, but not being a lawyer, or associated with the fraternity, with my information coming from public space such as media. I apologize for being untrained in language used by media, but allow me as a common man who is concerned for the turbulence that Pakistan’s army has cost, partly and future security and integrity of our country. Pakistan’s recent appointment of its new Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s has indeed made him the most powerful person in Pakistan. Where India’s debate over the effect of it is still on, your recent admission of your close ties with his family and him has made me question the intend of your relationship. Not too long ago you mentioned your relation with Gen Bajwa being your cousin, quite discretely of course. I bet, it must have forced you to also admit your heartiest congratulation for his promotion, in-spite of the ordeal that has taken place in Kargil war and his close alliances with General Mushraff.
The annals of history teach us that it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; and the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most- that has made it possible for evil to triumph. However, the great loss of country’s soldiers didn’t seem to have a lasting effect on you as you still maintain close ties with the family, and gave a prideful admission the stay over at his house. While the whole country is still battling their faith in patriotism, you go ahead and express your gratitude toward a person who our former Indian army chief general Bikram Singh, who also was superior of Gen Bajwa during a UN posting in congo, has asked to be cautious off. It is bothersome for the citizen of your own country to know your intend and extend of this 'oh so close relationship.

Les Mains Blanches / White Hands.
These photos were taken of the Mains Blanches/White Hands protest on the 19th of April 2008 at the Hôtel-de-Ville (Town Hall) in Paris, France - to denounce the inaction and corruption of those in power & in support of the hostages held in Colombia.
July 2008 saw the rescue of Ingrid Betancourt and 14 other political hostages by the Colombian Army from the FARC guerrilla forces. Naturally, this was wonderful news to those fighting for the release of all the hostages held in Colombia, but there remain close to 2000 people being held in that country.
I would like to believe that the actions of the ordinary citizens who fought to bring the hostages' plight to the eyes of the world; made a difference and encouraged those in positions of real power to take action. Of course, more needs to be done to bring a final and positive resolution to the crisis in Colombia.
I would like to strongly encourage all those who believe in humanitarian and human rights issues (whichever they may be) to take personal action. Of course each individual has varying amounts of time and effort to afford, yet each act counts and is vital. The day I am writing this is the 19th of January 2009 and is Martin Luther King Day in the U.S. In this world the political, financial and communitarian interests of many of those who hold real power to bring change are counter to the lives of the weakest and the oppressed in our societies - those who want to bring real change need to act together today for a better and more just world. Tomorrow shall always be too late....
