It will never be finished, because tan is way to expensive. I tried not using flash.

6" square patches in browns and turquoises: a quick quilt/playmat for a friend's new granddaughter. The friend lives near the sea, hence the choice of picture fabrics. (She's also a gardener and loves acers. Not sure where the musical mice come in!)

The top's finished - now to assemble it with a cream/bronze tiny-print border/back, and quilt it, trying out a YLI space-dyed quilting thread.

From and egg carton ans wine corks. Needs some paint and dirt to be done.

Sanji

Sometime I could be a mean person or annoying. If someone annoys me too much I snap I wont be able too hold my anger. I’m a kind of person who likes my nickname Sanji. I’m into music basically cause I listen to music and lyrics so I can memorize the lyrics. I’m like a relaxing person. Who don’t want to be annoyed. But if they annoy me first I will annoy them. If I relax too long my body aches so I get up and work out or just move around for a while.

It’s kind of easy being a poet cause all I have to do is think about one topic. But if I do a musical poetry Its going to be hard cause I’m not a kind of person who listen to the beat of a music, so basically I’m only good for writing the poetry, for example.

She way too beautiful

I don’t want to be ungrateful

Because if I’m grateful

She will be faithful

And also hopeful

She will be able find some on who loves her

And who will take care of her

And who will share with her

I’m not that type of person

That’s why I always have an evasion

She can always come to me for help

She can tell me how she feel

I hope she haves a heart of steel

So then she can show what love is

But I still don’t believe this

I still wish her a good life

I hope guys know they have a good wife

So anyone out there shout out

I've been working on this pattern for a few days. It is based on the Velveteen rabbit illustrations. I hope to be selling the sewing pattern in my shop by next week.

In the preliminary stages of a new mosaic, a clown portrait. This is a sketch of the ruffle that goes around the clown's neck. I can't draw at all, but the goal is to have the ruffle look like it has some dimension, not just flat tiles. Still refining the drawing...any feedback is helpful...thanks.

I painted a bunch of pages in my moleskine last night..fun, fun.

...then I color in the parts I won't cut out with a Sharpie. It helps me get an idea of how the print will look.

Valspar Satin "La Fonda Teal" and "Sea Kiss" mixed on the wall.

The first two layers printed -- ivory for the illuminated strip, and yellow for the floor and interior of the cinema.

This is my first official SD complex commission.

It's still in progress, but almost finished.

It fits too thight on my chocolat 'cause the doll who'll wear it is more more thin...but I wanted to show it weared to see how it wear.
