Was having dinner at East Coast Seafood Centre. The row of restaurants is just on the right, outside of this picture. The restaurants have a direct view to the seas and a very pleasant place for dinning. I stood on the break waters for this sunset shot.
Trafalgar Square has been a landmark in Central London since the 13th century. During summer it is a favorite gathering place for many including tourists. It's a good place to chill after a long walk around London!
This portrait of a sora does not present the typical position in which one finds the sora to photograph. The sora is a very secretive bird and is usually not in the light but is foraging around in the wetlands foliage where it can disappear rapidly - and often does. On this photo day it came out into the sunlight for a few moments and even took on this posture of, seemingly, a photographic pose for a second. Note the greenish foot placed visibly in a stately manner.

The Arch of Constantine is a triumphal arch located next to the Colosseum. It would be difficult to capture this Arch without including the Colosseum. The arch was erected in 315AD to commemorate Constantine I's victory over Maxentius at the Battle of Melvin Bridge. Have a great weekend!
Almost a classic painting from an Italian master - Zoom on fading sun in Montepulciano, Tuscany
Thanks for commenting, favoring and visiting me on this N°421 position in the June's Explore Takeover theme on Travel Photography (June 25, 2025) ... proud and happy to have been selected amongst all these other great travel photos.
It's spring and I like to go meet the short-eared owls at this time of the year because of the light, the flowers and the longer days. The owls have been present in this small port in France for some time. years. The wait is long but at sunset, this owl comes to slowly eat its prey and will stay all the time we need to take images, quiet in the last rays of the sun, forcing us to withdraw discreetly, leaving him in the night!

It's amazing what can hold a droplet just 2 mm in diameter.

Dahlia has a rich symbolism: the flower stands for wealth and elegance, and also for love and involvement. It’s a perfect flower to express your love! For the Aztecs, Dahlia was a religious symbol, besides food the flower was used in different types of ceremonies. Colors, Shapes, and Availability How many beautiful colors do you want to have? There is so much choice, from the gorgeous Black Fox to Café Au Lait (peach). Every year, there is more and more choice. Not only in color, but also in petal and flowerhead shape. There are now more than 1000 species, and we can divide those into single and double flowering. Beautiful pompon and ball dahlias, or the totally different (semi) cactus Dahlias. This flower always amazes you! Normally a fall flower, but luckily for us now available from March till September.
Love to capture a pic of birds after preening - the unusual view of individual feathers becoming visible can be shown as in this photo. Usually the feathers are hardly visible as individual (shown in the photos in the comments).
