For this week's Macro Mondays group theme, In a Bottle. The tiny glass bottle is less than ¾" high. The flowers, for once, are from my own garden.
Macro Mondays theme: In a Bottle. A little smaple bottle of perfume measuring 6cm in length and 2.5cm in width. Posted on my way back from Devon, HMM!
This tiny bottle with cork, measuring 1 inch / 25 cm long, was given to my wife by someone in her church. It had a label attached written in gold ink which would not photograph. So, I reproduced the words below the object.
Enjoy the rest of your Monday.

Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.
I had a LOT of fun with this one, with too many to choose from!
Thanks for taking the time to like and comment. HMM!
This antique perfume bottle is 3.8cm (1.5") at the widest point in the body (not in this photo). The neck is 3.8cm (1.5") long. The glass bauble sitting atop the cork stopper is smaller than a green pea; the glass dipper is visible inside the bottle.

Color reflections in the glass are from the tablecloth. It's a bottle from clear glass.
It's a bottle with sea salt and chives but you can see the cork stopper only.
I can't wear fragrances anymore so I have no idea why I've held onto this bottle. But it came in handy for last week's MM theme "In a bottle". I posted a different subject for MM but I do kind of like this so here it is. : )
#38 Stale/52 in 2023 Challenge
For this weeks Macro Mondays theme of "In a bottle" I had the idea of photographing coloured liquid coming out of them and selected these small craft bottles as they are less than an inch in width and it's nice to see other members have made use of these also.
I mixed water with icing sugar and then added food colouring to three different pots. Then it was a case of working out how much to add to each craft bottle so only a tiny amount would leak out when they were tipped onto their side.
I spilt a bit of the Red mixture during setup and was amused that the kitchen then looked like a crime scene.
I used my speedlight to illuminate my subjects and while direct flash was okay here I bounced from the ceiling to prevent the shadows it caused.

Unintentional camera movement.
Almost decided to delete this shot but then thought it pretty much had everything else I wanted except sharpness and focus. Well, it has a degree of focus I suppose and is this attribute really desirable in all photographs? Maybe not.
So here goes!
Many thanks for all views, fav's - and particularly comments - all are greatly appreciated!
Happy Macro Mondays to you all!
