This Imp was being given a drive into the countryside.
The registration seems to be NMV701E which was a London issue of January 1967, but nothing comes up online.
Sectioned Hillman Imp engine with gearbox, sub-frame and transaxle. The Imp's light aluminium engine was rear mounted and slanted over 45 deg to fit. This was done to keep the center of gravity low and to minimise its effects on the roadholding of the car. Some owners weighed the car's front with bricks to make it more stable. Donated by Reid Kerr College.
In 1930, the LMS Railway asked Lansing Bagnall to design a tractor for use on station platforms.
The result was the Imp, with the same engine as a Bullnose Morris Cowley.

A work in progress of the imperial courier from elite dangerous. this is a proof of concept that i'll transfer to stud.io for polishing and for adding features. this ship is 95 % cargo space with no room for any dedicated rooms for anything else or a habitable interior.
This great original Hillman imp photo was found at a car boot in Brighton. The stamp on the back says the photo was taken by Peter R Smith of Calderbank, Airdrie.
1963 Hillman Imp sedan. Taken at CARnivale 2017, held on Australia Day in Parramatta Park, Parramatta NSW.
Imp national weekend, Longleat, 1991- no idea whose car this is, I just liked the look of it (two of my Imps ended up with number plates postioned on the front panel like this one- it must have impressed me at the time!)
