Last week I took photos and wrote my first story about the Imagination Playground opening at Sister Cities Park in Philadelphia for MetroKids where I'm interning. I was so so excited!

This little shack occupied a corner of my childhood memory that only Dorothy's tornado-tossed Kansas farmhouse could supplant.
The one-room house seemed to have dropped out of the sky, resting just yards away from my grandparents' house on their farm in Kinder, Louisiana.
Behind its usually locked door was the fodder for a grandchild's rich imagination. Books, magazines, a railroad lantern, a typewriter, antique oddities of another age; all etching themselves on the mind of a young boy and still evident when I lightly scratch the surface of my recollections of those days.

We offer all the laser decors on 7 color variants of the two-hole cabochon known as PRECIOSA Candy™. The beads are decorated on the surface of their outer arch. Try combining them with the smooth PRECIOSA Candy™ variant which can be easily interconnected or sewn around thanks to the shallow dimple in the lower part of the bead.
A delicate bead such as the PRECIOSA Pip™ can also be laser decorated with the relatively small details of two decors on both its sides. We offer these decors on 18 surface finishes. String the PRECIOSA Pip™ beads with the new decor which fit closely together and create an interlocking zip effect. Or simply create an application in the shape of a flat flower.
Make use of the options presented by both these types of beads and supplement them with PRECIOSA Rocailles in a suitable color or combine them with other beads from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech BeadsTM range. You will see how your design will be made special by the Oriental appearance of the laser decor!

A special card for my brother-in-law who is graduating from University of Pennsylvania [blue and red!] with his Masters in Leadership Science! I see these images as paths or tracks into our imagination. The idea of the series is a meditation on an image. To take time to explore the feelings that it evokes and where it takes us. Here the starting point is visible in the print but where will the track or path lead us and what choices do we make in our imagination to get there? What is over the hill, round the corner, at the end of the track, through the woods, in the village or the farm beyond?
