My kids made a "time machine" out of carboard and paper. There´s nothing like imagination.

Last year, I started Christmas gifts for some friends, and then, with the birth of my first grandson, I didn't have time to finish them. I am happy to say, that only one year late (lol), I have finished Kathy's gift.

Kathy had a Marx Imagination Dollhouse when she was little, so I decided that her Kathy doll needed one, too. I thought it would be fun to reveal the gift here before sending it to her. Now it's onward to finish more gifts! :)

It's my private pleasure

Midnight fantasy.....

You're mine anytime"

I wanted to illustrate how I am still a child at heart. I love dinosaurs, and I actually made a few from clay (pictured). For me these pictures show my inner child, my imagination, and a few aspects of my art.

As I took shots on the beach yesterday my youngest son spent his time playing in the sand, building a "river road."

Their imagination is a beautiful thing.

Imagination... Danbo has it!!!

Macro Mondays - "Imagination"

When I go skiing and the snow and sun are just right, there looks to be hundreds of little diamonds twinkling in the snow. At least it does in my imagination :) I took this picture whilst I was packing for a skiing holiday so snow was in the forefront of my imagination already.

You probably guessed that these aren't actual diamonds :) They're crystals on some very sparkly shoes I own. The snowflake effect came from using a Lensbaby with a macro attachment and a snowflake shaped aperture ring.

I'm on a skiing holiday right now so I apologise if it takes me a long time to get through everyone else's Macro Monday submissions, but I will get around to it. Happy Macro Monday!

The exterior of the Journey into Imagination pavilion in Future World at EPCOT Center. The image was photographed with a Pentax ZX-50 film camera. The negative was scanned with an Epson Perfection V600 photo scanner.

Under a canopy of leaves, this field trip was a much appreciated chance to take portraits of children. However, my amateurism also re-entered the scene, as I somehow removed the RAW from the card before saving them on a harddrive. Therefore, I have only some select JPEG's in reduced format to show...Quite sad actually, as they were some of the best outdoor-natural light pictures of kids I'd ever taken. But you learn as a photographer, just like any other human, from your mistakes. So I've bought a card reader and upped my procedures to always save the images I shot.

Imaginations of future world.

Remembering the days when playing a game took some original thought and imagination ...

With some fantasy you will se tiny beeings escaping her body! I never understood why teens think smoke photography is cool. And I still dont!

I learned to like it for the shapes the smoke showes, and it inspires me.

So robust is the power of imagination, even a single chip of glass can imprison the sun...

It's a piece of glass and the sun in the background!!!!!! Just felt like capturing
