3Dseist software for computer processing of the ASTER and Landsat7ETM images have been used to create the volumetric structural-geodynamic models of the NW Namibia & SE Angola territory to discriminate the high potential concentration of mineral resources based on limited field data in order to aid exploration for new copper and titaniferous magnetite mineralization. The strategy adopted to facilitate this predictive modeling is to develop understanding and testing of a 4Dseist model through research. They allowed calculating the potential resources of commercially important concentration of copper and titaniferous magnetite ores. Several points of Fe-Ti-Cu mineralization predicted by the 4Dseist technology had been confirmed by field observations.

Having a little reflection fun while marching in place.

Late October home football game at the High School. It was chilly and it would rain soon. The game was almost over and there weren't many fans in the stands. The team had a time out, and was planning for the final play. I took this photo, the home team scored and won, and it started to rain. All was well.

Generative painting based on a NASA photograph -- completely automated using software I am writing. Photo -> In, Painting -> Out. The software allows for parameters and settings to be tweaked, but all painting is software generated. Please see the "Painterly" set description for more info.

 

For this image, I've added a post-process color step in LAB color space in PhotoShop that I'll add to my software in the next version. (Resizing and Sharpening also done in Photoshop.)

 

I think I've found an optimal set of parameters to generate reliable results. There are only 5 image processing stages in the pipeline — fewer than I've programmed in total, so I'm actually not using all the features I've added to the software. That's how it works, I guess: Build, Test, Prune, Repeat.
