Photographed December 2018 / Ricoh 500 rangefinder camera with RIKEN RICOMAT 4.5cm/2.8 lens. Film was KENTMERE 400 bulk stock metered ASA 200 developed in PYROCAT-HD sodium carbonate version (5ml A + 50ml B > 600ml, 7min, 20*C). Negative was digitalised via a Pentax k3 DSLR equipped with a Schneider COMPONON-S 80mm/4 enlarging lens on helicoid adjustable length extension tubes. Image was edited on an iPad mini using the Snap Seed application. Scanned full frame & sprocket holes included on RHS.
This was taken with my new camera, the Sony Nex 6 and the kit zoom lens; 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS
I wanted a lighter weight 2nd camera, as carrying a full-frame with a huge pro-lens can really take its toll on my already damaged spine!
I don't think it will ever replace my full-frame for landscape work etc, however it is a dream to walk around with and once I get a decent lens for it (and judging by the above image), I think I may get some good results.
If anyone has advice regarding a good lens for it please let me know.
I am considering the Carl Zeiss 24mm 1.8 or the Sony 10-18mm f/4 but leaning towards the CZ.

All the best on your Epic Hero's Journey from Johnny Ranger McCoy!
Modeling the black & gold "Gold 45 Revolver" Gold'N'Virtue swimsuits with the main equation to Moving Dimensions Theory on the swimsuits: dx4/dt=ic. Yes I have a Ph.D. in physics! :) You can read more about my research and Hero's Journey Physics here:
herosjourneyphysics.wordpress.com/ MDT PROOF#2: Einstein (1912 Man. on Rel.) and Minkowski wrote x4=ict. Ergo dx4/dt=ic--the foundational equation of all time and motion which is on all the shirts and swimsuits. Every photon that hits my Nikon D800e's sensor does it by surfing the fourth expanding dimension, which is moving at c relative to the three spatial dimensions, or dx4/dt=ic!
Best on your hero's journey from Johnny Ranger McCoy! :)
Falling in love with the full frame 36 megapixel e mount Sony A7R!
The books behind the pretty goddess on the Malbu bluff and surfboard are The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Edward Gibbon, Homer's Iliad, Homer's Odyssey, Shakespeare, and Herman Melville's Moby Dick! My favorite books! Will have some video of the pretty model reading them beside a campfire soon.
They're all collectors editions! My books cost as much as my surfboards!
And for those who always ask, I shoot in RAW! Always! :)
