Nice cloud formation this afternoon.

Then I went round a corner, and the mouth of the Russian River was glowing pink, in reflected glory

De Gran Canaria a Madrid. Dan ganas de quedarse en el aire...

Photographed during the extreme weather experienced as dated, in South-Western Ontario between May 31 - June 1, 2006.

The first 'severe' thunderstorm activity of the season, followed by 'flash flood' and 'tornado' warnings that later subsided.

A storm cell just missed us but made a gorgeous sky. These are called mammatus clouds. Have loved these formations since I can remember.*this was taken with my kodiak and looks so one dimensional*

felt that this angle with the temple against the clouds would be interesting and clicked...I felt its quite neat

See if you like it better with more detail on large

Whenever I see a sky filled with clouds of these colors, it reminds me of a sky painted by the artist Maxfield Parrish. He created romantic skies filled with pink and yellow clouds against brilliant blue.

Looking North, yes it was full of snow!! and very little wind, very unusual!!

Here is a steam-like scene from a hiking/skiing trail on Grouse Mountain.

Thank you ever so much for your visits and comments and advice and all that you have offered. It has been a joy making friends here and also learning more about photography.

I appreciate you all!

Every cloud has one!

These two clouds on Grouse Mountain moved quickly towards each other. They were almost a perfect fit.

West Texas Skies for ya...

Right after the storms towards the East at sundown. I feel mystified when I see these clouds. They are rare in these parts.

Southwest Colorado, LaPlata Mountain Range

I'm so in love with watching clouds. We have had some magnificent skies here in North Carolina this summer and I've been enjoying watching the changing cloud patterns and how the sun creates shadows and light on these beauties.

i thought this was a striking moment...

dug up an older photo from a trip to kelowna last year.

listen to this.

I've never seen clouds like this before. They were so cool. We live in an area with an ocean influence, so I'm constantly turning my camera upwards to shoot the sky. But these were unusually beautiful.
