Wide landscape shots should be viewed large ..
The world famous Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo,
New Zealand.
This little church still hold regular services and is open to the public every day.
Then I went round a corner, and the mouth of the Russian River was glowing pink, in reflected glory

Photographed during the extreme weather experienced as dated, in South-Western Ontario between May 31 - June 1, 2006.
The first 'severe' thunderstorm activity of the season, followed by 'flash flood' and 'tornado' warnings that later subsided.
Giving way for the sky to fall.

A storm cell just missed us but made a gorgeous sky. These are called mammatus clouds. Have loved these formations since I can remember.*this was taken with my kodiak and looks so one dimensional*
felt that this angle with the temple against the clouds would be interesting and clicked...I felt its quite neat
Whenever I see a sky filled with clouds of these colors, it reminds me of a sky painted by the artist Maxfield Parrish. He created romantic skies filled with pink and yellow clouds against brilliant blue.
Looking North, yes it was full of snow!! and very little wind, very unusual!!

These two clouds on Grouse Mountain moved quickly towards each other. They were almost a perfect fit.
Right after the storms towards the East at sundown. I feel mystified when I see these clouds. They are rare in these parts.
I'm so in love with watching clouds. We have had some magnificent skies here in North Carolina this summer and I've been enjoying watching the changing cloud patterns and how the sun creates shadows and light on these beauties.
I've never seen clouds like this before. They were so cool. We live in an area with an ocean influence, so I'm constantly turning my camera upwards to shoot the sky. But these were unusually beautiful.
