this photo makes no sense 2 anyone (even me)::: we have 2 make room for the icecube tray in the overstuffed tiny freezer. necessity is the key::: we make 'icecubes' in what?
slice/chop up the plastic trays; if they are not in use making icecubes now due 2 limited freezer space::: make them into efficient smaller units. the goal is 3 or 4 guys instead of 1. takes abitof effort. we used our trusty utility knife for this job. do it. or go without icecubes. also 2 save time: freeze mint leaves and lime pulp/zest in the cubes. bottom line: don't spend mo$$$ for water or icecubes. recycle what you already have. wesocrazy. like mojitos
We bought a tray of these bad boys at urban almanac yesterday. We go through shotglasses like crazy and these make them nice and disposable. Also posted in locals photo-theme-thread.
Take your everyday icecube tray, fill it up with water mixed with foodcoloring, attach your macro lens to your body, get as close as you can, add more foodcoloring, and klabang, done. Have fun!
This was one of 3 taken for the Whirlpool Photo Comp for July 2010 - the theme is Cold.
(Not my final entry - up in my Top 3 finalists)
Taken while having lunch with my mother-in-law. Early February my father-in-law suffered a stoke. He is ok physically, but mentally he is confused often, so I took my mother-in-law to the Extension Spring Craft Show and we did a little shopping and lunch at Red Lobster.
Oozy loves ice cubes and they are great for teething to :O) tho he does get confused when it vanishes and starts hunting for it lol
this was taken this morning so you can see his op isnt slowing him down any lol
Not sure what went on in my freezer to produce this protrusion from one of the 'cubes.
The ambient temperature in my room was so high I only had a couple of minutes to photograph it before it melted away.
