Icecubes in a cone. Mmmmm....so good. lol. Icecream is one of the things I love but that I've given up in favor of losing some weight.
I weighed myself this morning and I'm down 2.6 lbs from two weeks ago today. Also I checked my chart and I first started recording my weight back in March of 2008. It's been an up and down rollercoaster ride in weight loss/gain. But I'm happy to say I'm 18 lbs lighter today than I was in March of 08, and I'm a pound away from being at my college weight from 1995. My short term goal is lose another 5 lbs over the next 30 days and I'm fairly confident I'm going to get there. :)

We left an old fish tank on the desk. It filled with rain. Then froze, from the outside in towards the middle of the tank. you can see the round line when the ice on the outside meets the unfrozen water in the middle. It's a reverse icecube!
Not freshly squeezed but poured from a carton freshly out of the fridge!

At the South Pole.
It just keeps getting better down here. Early this morning we suited up in our extreme-cold survival gear, followed our friend Dr. Lisa Clough of the National Science Foundation down to the ice airstrip, boarded an LC-130 Hercules, and flew 3 hours inland to the South Pole. For decades the Hercules fleet has been the dependable backbone of the U.S. Antarctic Program, and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the flight deck of the old workhorse with the pilot and co-pilot as we soared into the Antarctic interior.

Ice Cube in cross stitch. I LOVE this piece but not crazy about the frame nor how hard it is to read in the colors I selected. Might have to give this another go. (and it's Geto Boys who originally did the tune)

About Ride Along
Kevin Hart and Ice Cube lead the lineup in Ride Along, the new film from the director and the producer of the blockbuster comedy Think Like a Man. When a fast-talking guy joins his girlfriend’s brother—a hot-tempered cop—to patrol the streets of Atlanta, he gets entangled in the officer’s latest case.
